Actually looks to be a fairly accurate scale of the classic cloverleaf for two main highways

It appears you still have some RHW Version 3.0 files in your Plugins that are interfering with your 4.0 files--that's why you have the texture mismatch there.  Look to see if you still have a "Rural Highway Mod" folder under your NAM folder and delete it if you do.

Nah, it just looks like that because I'm using mrtnrl's Euro-road textures for RHW v4, but it doesn't support the draggable ramps (yet?). (I once uninstalled the most recent NAM and the uninstaller just emptied my whole 'Network Addon Mod'-folder, so because of that, I'm using the most recent version of NAM, NWM and RHW.)

(But thanks anyway for being concerned about me 1.gif )

Timmie, it looks pretty good. Curves would make it look better but would also make it probably twice bigger. Another thing which should be much easier to fix is the slope of the highway going below the other one. If I were you, I'd use Avenue FLUPs 2.gif

Here's a diamond interchange (note the slip lanes 9.gif )

Very nice, io (as always 2.gif).

Where did you get the GLR-to-subway converter? It looks better than the one I use.

Anyway, I did what you suggested: use avenue FLUPs (though I had to make the interchange slightly larger to use it), and here's the result:

It looks way better (but I just don't like cloverleafs 20.gif)

Hey Timmie, nice cloverleaf!

By the way, I have a new version of the Belgian Signage on the STEX (in HD with Belgian lights!). Search for Belgian Road Pack on the STEX.

And io_bg, that's a splendid interchange you have there!

@io_big: Wow! Nice exit ramp! How did you get it like that? Is there an Omnibus article on making something like that? It's so realistic!

@Maarten: Whoa! Impressive! Nice interchanges. I assume those custom lightposts are part of the new Lightpost replacement mod?

First, I gotta say "Wow!" to that last set of photos. Those are amazing Maarten.

I was frustrated for a while trying to make a good looking simple RHW-4 interchange. It took me forever to figure out the right order to place the peices and make it work. After finally figuring it out, I was able to make this...

It is not in a functioning city, as I was just teaching myself how to do it.

Oh! The first picture on the page! Those are the FlexFly pieces, and they come with the RHW 4.0. What you do is you go back to the RHW Details page and re-download it. Then you will get all sorts of new pieces, including those.

Ok, I can't find this 180 degree curve anywhere in my game! I have the May 2010 NAM and the RHW that came with it. Where can I find this curve? Thanks!

By the way, io_bg, this looks great. I wish I had the same creative ability as you!

You need to use 2- 90's to make that. Place the edge of one so it overlaps the first one placed and you should get a 180. May take a few tries to get it right.

Are there two 90 degree pieces? One larger and one smaller? When I created it with the 90 degree pieces I have, the 180 degree turn is far to big to be the one it io_bg's picture.

In my picture, there is 6 tiles between each lane. In io_bg's picture, it looks like there's only 2, maybe 3 tiles between each lane.

@MetropolisX: that 180 degree curve is the normal draggable MIS. When you drag one at a 90 degree angle, that small tight curve will be created. Repeat again and you will get a 180 degree curve. No need of Wide Radius Curves (hence the name, they're for wide things)

.yeah sepen20 is right..its not a puzzle piece..just drag the MIS into a 180 curve within 3 tiles..

Oh sweet! Thanks guys. I really needed that curve for some junctions of mine and I couldn't find them. Haha, thanks.

Nice!  I'll have to try that sometime.

Did you know that the DRI feature in RHW 4.0 allows for the construction of draggable Type-B inside ramps?  There doesn't seem to be a puzzle piece for this in the menu, so I guess it's draggable only.  I've used it in the interchange shown below.

ich00.jpg

This is an interchange for the intersection of an RHW-2 with an RHW-4 that is designed to use no land on the other side of the RHW-4.
