I love this last one quite a lot--it's perhaps the only freeway interchange built at full scale, and with rather basic stuff! (one-ways and the NAM elevated road puzzle pieces) You know what? you should get the Real Highway mod (RHW) by NAM Team. Once you get the hang of it (unless you already did and this image isn't up-to-date), you'd be able to replicate an interchange as marvelous as this with it!

I've tried the RHW Mod. It's nice and definitely looks better, but it's not as easy to work with. Plus it's hard to build anything other than 45 and 90 degree roads, which is a major disadvantage when doing a recreation.

Moonraker0: Those interchanges are superb - especially the trumpet. Just shows how brilliant the RHW can look when curves are used.

very nice BlueLightning. If that's going to be a rural area, it need not be quite so tight, but very clever use of clover ramps.

I noticed that the original thread was broken with no more posts showing up, so this will be it's replacement. Here's a link to the original.

...

From this idiotic idea I learned two thing. First, unchecked ambition can lead to amazing but sometimes useless things. And second, I realized why 3 highways will never be part of the same interchange.

Any feedback on my "interesting" interchange would be appreciated, and posting your own interchange would be even better.

Poor drivers... :boggle:

Here's an ancient, RHW version 2 6 way interchange I made for the craic a few years ago. It looks awful.

I see a lot of nice interchanges here. It's too bad I'm neither as talented or patient with the RHW as you guys.

A large interchange from my recreation of the Los Angeles area. It took a couple of days to complete. I'm quite satisfied with it. Hope you all like it as well ;D

Freshballin---- what interchange in the Los Angeles area is it supposed to be...

since the city name window says Mission Hills I guess it's supposed to be I405 and CA118. at least that's the only intersecetion in the area that looks almost like this one posted.

I made a few spelling mistakes and i think i will re-write the blurb, and eventually update the image once I've finished with the farm land

I have a question: what mod do you use to build the tunnels right next to eachother?Because on mine, when I try that, it comes up with an error. Nice interchange btw!

Thanks! To be honest, I've never paid attention to which mods I use. But, I believe it might be because of the Slope Mod by Bones: http://www.simtropol...rail-slope-mod/ and these Tunnel Mods by KT3: http://www.simtropol...e-mod-highways/ & http://www.simtropol...nnel-slope-mod/ . One thing I've noticed is that with some of the road networks (one-ways, avenues, etc.) you can only drag them in one direction to form a tunnel of the length you want. Find the direction in which the network forms a tunnel. For one-ways, you can go back and change the direction by dragging it in the opposite direction. Hope that helps.
