AMD Driver has stopped responding and has recovered

And with that it's resolved. Found a similar issue posted on the CS subreddit. Adding the -force-d3d9 launch option seems to have resolved it for now. -
AMD Driver has stopped responding and has recovered

Whenever I place the freight train station, my screen goes black for 2-3 seconds and the display driver reloads. Cities Skylines comes back with a white screen. The simulation continues as I can hear it but the window is white. I have disabled all mods and custom content and this still occurs. Has anyone else had this issue? -
Show off your street level/detail shots. I think that this is one of the areas that this game really shines. This is another shot from my in progress Los Angeles recreation. This one is from Culver City with the I-10 heading west toward Santa Monica.

It may be because the thread is 10 years old... There hasn't even been a reply for five years.

One of those locations says that it's in a Roaming Profile. Are you in a computer environment that uses a Server like Windows Server 2003/2008? Sounds like you may have installed it on the computer and again linked to your specific account.

Replies Zulu2065 - I know, I just like my way better nathanthemayor - Thanks. In-game shots will be coming soon. Benedict - Thanks! sloppy 192 - Thanks, I am loving how the suburban networks are looking. I'm hoping I get nominated for a Trixie for them. SmartbyLaw - Lincoln Villige/Westland.....it's coming sometime soon, although it's not on my high priorities list. I'm still working on Dublin, moving across the north through Worthington and Westerville. The west side will probably be the last area I'll lay out.

I stitch a bunch of Google Maps screenshots together, resize to +-70%, and trace the roads in MS paint. I then run SC4 in windowed mode, and use the 8-bit map as a reference for the lengths and position of the roads.

Hmm, so did you all think I forgot about this? Maybe I did, maybe I didn't. So maybe I haven't been building in the game recently, but I have been working on my 8-bit reference map.

The 10 Most Famous Cities In The World

I know that I leave CD's in my drive until I need to use a different program, but I also have a drive that acts up. It spins up whenever I browse through My Computer, and there is a considerable burn mark on the CD's that I leave in my drive for extended periods of time. But from what I've seen, it hasn't affected gameplay.

Have you tried something like Kansas City or Omaha? Mostly grid, fairly good sized cities. I will have to share my tricks for creating real city transportation networks. Very clever and useful, would likely help a lot of people.

I don't understand your question. I am using one way roads. If you meant that I'm not using the RHW, that's because the classic NAM roads are much more flexible, even if it's a little less "aesthetically pleasing".

NMUSpidey - Thanks! Yeah, it WAS some good progress. Unfortunately I got a virus and had to revert to a previous backup and lost pretty much all of my Worthington area. tonyr - We,, at least as interesting as a suburb can be lol. Thanks for viewing. zcg4755 - Yeah, I also love recreations. They aren't done nearly enough as they should either. x493x - Thanks! Benedict - Thanks! Yes, that interchange was quite the challenge, but it's fun when you can recreate something challenging and have it be almost exactly the same as the real life counterpart. I've been busy lately with school and work. Worked 52 hours last week and decided I'm going to take a few days off lol. So I decided to get back to this and take on an interchange that has been challenging me for years. Turns out that I got it done in under two hours. This is the I-270/I-670/US-62 interchange near Gahanna. Link to the aerial of the real interchange: http://goo.gl/maps/M8aB I only had to leave out one of the ramps.
