Haha, I say the Sears Tower too! I'm from Chicago and yeh that has always been my favorite building. No one even calls it the Willis Tower they should just stick with the Sears Tower... =D

Please note that none of these pictures are mine. I start nearer to home with a plethora of buildings that I would love to see in SC4 from LONDON, England:

Sorry man, i am for the classics: Crystal Building, if we talk about standard high towers, if not i'd go with St. Basil, Moscow.

I've been to the Petronas towers, they're incredibly beautiful, but I'm going to have to go with Marina Bay Sands(Singapore)

The Buffalo Court Building, exceptionally brutalist. You can imagine the Ministry of Love being housed in here...

So many beautiful towers. One that's got my attention lately is karachi port tower complex. I think its just a proposal

http://www.flickr.co...gla/2810631565a

I'm a huge fan of american style boxy buildings, but I just love the way this building comes together, the curves are so nice.

There are so many nice ones in chicago, but the one I really really like is Wrigley building

http://www.google.co...,r:14,s:0,i:104

The trump tower which is built next to it, pays homage to the wrigley building, having the same angles and slants and central tower coming out from up top, but of course in a much more modern fashion

I'd have to go with the Cathedral of Learning at U Pitt. It is a great example of Neogothic.

It would be great to have this in Sim City. (I know this isn't at request thread)

I'm also a fan of the Sears Tower, Robie House, Falling Water, Guggenheim,NY (and a lot of FLW stuff), Tribune Tower and Grand Central Terminal.

Are those broken windows and peeling paint on the casino? If so, a shame that building has fallen into neglect.

I can't really decide on a favorite building since there are many great ones around the world. But if you really press me, I'd probably select the Taj Mahal in Agra, India. It is among the most beautiful and perfect buildings ever constructed.

Romania after the fall of the communism falled untill 2000 in a very dark period. Hundreds of factorys wore torn down and selled as scrap metal, same happend with the commercial navy ships. That is why many old and beautifull buildings built before 1950 are now in a bad shape. In the last couple of years the new owners of those buildings started to restore them. That's why the old casino looks like this :(

But there is hope because in 2 months will be an international auction to sell the building to a casino chain.

I find the Theatinerkirche in Munich very appealing. Sadly this picture seems to be the only one of the first few dozens that is anywhere near the real color of the church. The amount of pictures with downright horrible white balance is astounding.

Theatiner_Kirche_Muenchen.jpg

If it counts, I love the Karlsplatz Subway.

20120324-110332.jpg

And for a little piece of local patriotism I love the Herkules at Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe, in particular juxtapositioned with Schloss Wilhelmshöhe. You can't see it on this one, but on the top of the "Oktagon" is the namegiving statue of Hercules, a pretty huge replica of the Farnese Hercules.

This one reminds me quite a bit of the Geman Pavillon at the International Exposition 1937.

I like Tower 3 of the new world trade center (175 Greenwich Street), they started building in 2010 and the opening should be in 2014.

The BAT of this building is awesome by the way.

I don't have pics, sorry.

Camden Yards- Baltimore. I don't know why. This stadium, home to the now-I-root-for-them-after-being-there Baltimore Orioles, just has this charm to it. It's just one of those things that you just can't explain, but Baltimore is a charm city.

I don't know why.

As for skyscrapers...

Morgan-Stanley Building, New York.

Mellon Bank Center - Pittsburgh/Philadelphia (either one) speaking of Philly...

Philadelphia City Hall

John Hancock Center (Chicago)

Scotia Plaza - Toronto

Wells Fargo Center - Minneapolis

But my all-time favorite (architecturally) building is...

United States Capitol, Washington DC

Beautiful piece of art, showing the building that can house the government, truly a masterpiece.

"New York may be the best city in America, but Philadelphia is the best city in the world."

Humm I love so many! I will have to give a top five list.

1. Almas Tower, Dubai - It is a beautiful building, love it's design!

2. Burj Khalifa, Dubai - Truly an amazing super tower!

(Basically any Dubai building I love)

3. Al Bidda Tower, Doha - I love it's shape and design

4. 1180 Peachtree Tower, Atlanta - Always loved this building since I was a kid.

5. Fifth Third Bank Tower, Lexington - Tallest building in my city, love the way it looks. Also known as "Big Blue" because of course, it's blue for the Bluegrass State lol
