Description:

I am requesting someone to make this kind of houses/huts for SimCity 4. This types of houses, as well as the particualar house in the picture above, are typical houses from Switzerlands ski-resort cities, such as Gstaad or Villars. 

 

If you search on Google for "Gstaad houses" or just "Gstaad" - you will see that the whole town of Gstaad consists of these type of houses.

Why this would be beneficial for the game or community: 

I think this would beneficial to the game, since it dosent exist anything like it. Atleast, as I know of.

 

can pay a small money for those who take their time in order to create this for both me and the community.

It would be cool if someone made a BAT of the Lego Factory in Billund. I could only find these two pictures though: 1 and 2.

 

I think this would be beneficial to the community because as far as I know, there aren't many real-world factories on the STEX or LEX(Unless I haven't looked properly enough). It would be a neat addition and being a Lego fan myself, I would love to see this.

I'm requesting this because I need a realistic way to set a scene of transporting heavy duty equipment to remote areas with no port access for my CJ and I have failed in my attempts to do it myself.. it seems it will take a very long time to learn the BAT for me.. 

 

If anyone does end up taking the job, maybe make an open version too?

How about Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad, India?

Originally a palace(obviously) constructed in the 1880's, Falaknuma Palace was renovated into a luxury hotel. That renovation began in 2000 and the palace was reopened in 2010. It covers an area of 93,971 square meters.

Why do I think this would be good as for the game? Well, they aren't many Indian buildings on the STEX or LEX for one and India has some great buildings. Second, I think the palace is great and would make an excellet addition for any city. It could be incorporated into the game as a ploppable LM and a ploppable C$$$ due to its renovation into a luxury hotel. In general, I think that this would be a great addition to the amount of great content the BATters have made for the game.

REQUEST: Please ,please ,please                            New Eye Candy Tunnel Portals, based on WMP Tunnel Portals idea. (Thank You Doc), overhanging lots not transit enabled lots.

My request actually has some varied options and stages. I hope to see all the goals completed some day (with much muchx100 time in the future maybe me) but would be happy with the minimum part of the request.

 

A. Minimum:  Would someone be so kind as to please texture and release the Tunnel Portal Models made by Strubelpeter2

                      They have also released a textured set but admits it is a bit lacking in finishing and seems to encourage a texture cleanup.

                       If someone is aware of these having been redone somewhere else please provide the link.

 

B. I also haven't seen a suburban community center on STEX.  Every city here in Orange Country seems to have either a modest looking one or a modern building...for community classes, events, etc.  Here's a couple pictures I found that are good examples.  There's also some cool modern looking ones if you just type in "community center" into google and look at the images.

Now, I would also be willing to pay money (not much, maybe $10 - $20) if anyone was willing to make a more complex one, similar to the Target below. Something with a big box store, and possibly even a whole shopping center. If someone made a Whole Foods similar to the one below in the style of the Target below (a fairly large lot with a large parking lot), I would pay maybe $10 - $15. If someone made a shopping center similar to the Food Lion one by SimGoober (a shopping center with a big box store, preferably a grocery store and then some smaller shops along side it, and also a fast food place or two in the front of the parking lot near the street) I would pay a little more like $20 or $25 - $30 if it was really good. If anyone is interested in learning more, contact me and we can talk about it. If I like your work, I would offer something like $100 for 4 - 8 lots/BATs depending on the complexity and quality.

Note: before anyone makes anything for me, talk to me first, and show me an example of your work.

There is actually a big version of Target on the Stex. It's not that same model though.

Thanks 9gruntsand1hammer, I've seen that one and I have the smaller version of it.  I would give it a B+ but I just don't like the lake in back and the midwest/east coast feel of it, but it's still a great lot.  I was showing the Target and Food Lion Shopping Center as examples of lots I like (just to show the size and style and parking lot), but I would like to see a Whole Foods, or Smart & Final, or Ralph's, Stater Bros., Sprouts, Bristol Farms, Trader Joe's (I think a few of those might be California only, which makes sense why I don't see them, and why I would be willing to spend a little money to get quality lots made featuring them).  OR, if someone wanted to take the Target lot and expand on it with other small shops (like Radio Shack, The Vitamin Store, maybe a nail place, hair place, dentist, optometry, Jamba Juice, Juice It Up, Starbucks, Verizon Wireless, a mexican food place, a Pho place, a sushi place, massage place, etc.)

Would Love to see a modular strip mall pack with some popular strip mall stores such as Radioshack, great clips (and/or borics), gamestop, Sally Beauty Supply, payless shoes...ect..mixed in with a few anchor stores like old navy or bed bath and beyond with corner pieces to make more complex shopping centers.

I would also like to see a stand alone payless shoesource store as well.

So I am all new to this, considering I usually play the newer SimCity, but I was wondering, would anyone be able to recreate more Pittsburgh, PA buildings? A long while ago someone made the US Steel building but considering that UPMC bought the building a few years ago, it's outdated due to a new sign being put on it. Besides, only 3 buildings were made and I really want to see the PPG Place building added, and more buildings in the city. I know someone asked last decade, but it's been a while, and lately, I've been really getting into modded SC4.

 

And yeah I know I posted this in a different topic a couple months back. Didn't get around to it until now

It's a good addition, especially for players who want to build an modern residential district near modern downtown. Also I heard about the International Month on STEX, so I think it's matching into it, especially for it's modern and elegant shape.

I would like to address this case to the Batters, who can do a spectacular nightlights in 3DS, the care about detail, and they want to recreate it for Darknite mod.

I will be very thankful to see that thing in my (and other cities) ingame.

Hi I'd love if someone could do up the Roslyn, NY clock tower.  It's a nice little tower right at a corner intersection. 

And actually if you google earth around the area there are some awesome places in the town!  Check the take a nice walk around the block in google earth, there is a lake in the middle of the block
