Humm, a huge list the Team needs to give this a good look at. And a smart thing to request for a New York building sense there is a team that can make it possable.

If the entire NYBT worked full time on that list, keeping in mind they're not exactly slow workers, they might have it ready for you in say... a half century.

In my opinion, it'd be a very good idea to read the first post of this thread and edit your post accordingly before Blue Lightning gets here... 37.gif

Golden Corral is an American family-style restaurant chain that features a large buffet and grill offering numerous hot and cold items, a carving station and their Brass Bell Bakery.

Why this would be beneficial for the game or community:

It never hurts to add more sit-down joints. And what better than the place I was addicted to every time we went to Orlando? Best. Buffet. Ever.

Small 757 Cargo planes lots

I would like if somebody could lot the Cargo 757s from AC Cargo planes vol01 on to 3x2 lots. I have the SCAG cargo lots vol.1 but i feel that the 757s included in it are on too large of lots for the size planes. i would like to have the option to make a busy, cramped cargo airport .  The 3x2 lots could just come from 737 variety pack  minus the jetway. If you happen to have props for airport clutter that could be put around in a way like the photo above that would be awesome too. I would do this myself but im not skilled with the BAT program. thank you very much!

737 Variety pack (https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=19237)

AC Cargo Planes Vol01 (https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1895)

Why this would be beneficial for the game or community: (Bold)

I think the Community would benefit from this lot because efficient and more realistic cargo airports could be created.

Pacific Southwest Building.

The Pacifc Southwest building is the tallest building in Fresno. It towers 16 stories above the streets at 325 ft high.

Bing view

Why this would be beneficial for the game or community:

Because there is nothing on the STEX that comes from Fresno. It would be nice because it is one nice piece of architecture from the 1930s.

 triumph-arch-brussels.jpg

Description: This is the triumphal arch (or named as Cinquantenaire) situated in the city of Brussels, Belgium. It commemorates Belgian Independence.

Why this is beneficial to the gaming community: Sim city builders who; like me like to re-create real cities (European ones) have noticed the lack of Brussels buildings when searching for them. I also believe this to be a great looking arch for any Sim city builders who would like to place some great triumphal arch in there city.

San Diego's El Cortez Hotel

el-cortez-hotel-1a.jpg

Other Links: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Cortez_Apartment_Hotel

http://www.emporis.com/application/?nav=building&lng=3&id=elcortezhotel-sandiego-ca-usa

Description: El Cortez has been San Diego's leading landmark since its first grand opening in 1927. Its colorful past is vivid in the minds of all native San Diegans.

From its opening in 1927 through the 1950s, it was the most glamorous apartment-hotel in San Diego. The large "El Cortez" sign, which is illuminated at night, was added in 1937 and could be seen for miles. In the 1950s, the world's first outside glass elevator and the first motorized moving sidewalk were built at the El Cortez. The sign at the top reads "El Cortez" and lights up in red at night.

Why this is beneficial to the gaming community: San Diego doesn't have many buildings represented on here, so this would be great for not only residents and ex-residents, but it provides as a historical landmark and has an old spanish charm to it which might be cool for some cities.

Hello. I was wondering, since I've waited literally forever for Sam Johnson, Yoder, and peterchristy to finish batting their versions of the Kremlin Walls in Moscow, I've decided to go one step further and request them on Simtropolis. If anyone could please (and I mean please) make good Kremlin Walls that I can use for my future CJ/MD. If anyone is willing to BAT them, straight and diagonal, please, please, please do! Thanks in advance, here are some pics for inspiration:

ebay01.jpg

15244-a-general-view-of-ebay-headquarter

description: this is the eBay Head quarters located in san jose CA

moltres.gif

descripton: this is Moltres i would like a statue of this pokemon

three other re-requests (I second three requests that others made, (1)the Aldi store (2)the Darco sim city 2000 arco (3) the apple store

why these will be benifitial {my own requests}: {ebay Headquarters) it would be nice to have an ebay related item in the game for all those fans of (or whoever uses) eBay, {Moltres statue} basically the same reason as the guy who posted the Lugia statue request, he claims there is no Pokemon related items on here, i searched and found none, so he's right, although the Lugia statue was requested, i would rather see a Moltres statue.. either way it would be nice to see pokemon related items for sim city 4

EDIT: third edit... i see my heading isn't working. i put it back in three times -- MODS: PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM

These photos were took in Avenida da Igreja, Alvalade, Lisbon, where I took the best shots I could from these buildings. I'd love it if you could reproduce them in the STEX as I don't believe these are close to any building existant:

img0112wi.jpg

fotos0009.jpg

Thank you very much

Edit: Also, very important for the BATers, the back of the building is just the same but without the door and all the balconies look the same.

Just want to say that I've recently moved to Bangkok and came on here to find some buildings for my new location, as I want to play around with it, and instead I've found all these excellent buildings from my home town! Thank you for your efforts! The Elysian in particular looks great and even the generic little SuperValu (is that the one in Ballincolling?) and An Post are just so... Irish. Well done and while these guys are pressing you for perfection it is clearly because it's possible! 9.gif

These aren't requests so much as a wishlist but I reckon other noteable buildings in Cork would be...

Shandon tower (St Anns Church)

2556553330_b308a4c9de.jpg

The nearby Firkin Crane Theatre

2833619012_44ab5248a2.jpg

Cork Opera House

440-4.jpeg

And perhaps the ever lovely visible R&H Hall building

I've already worked on the first 3 of those a little bit. Some more than others. Keep an eye on the Ireland Project thread in the future when I'll reveal the models when they're ready to be textured. I like keeping surprises 2.gif

NooksShop2.gif

Description:

A convenience store found in Animal Crossing.

Why this would be beneficial for the game or community:

We can always use more convenience stores in SC4, and Nook n' Go looks like it would blend in well in SC4's surroundings!

THE STRAND

LONDON, England

3694035213b19fc149ccb1.jpg

Description: This building off The Strand is an example of an early 1900s corner building with one orthagonal and one diagonal side forming a triangle at the junction of The Strand and Aldwych. I have to confess I am unaware of the occupation of the building but its turquoise roof shows off at the same level as many other plain roofs neighbouring this building.

Reason for Request: I think there should be more diagonal corner buildings in SC4 and this one can fit into all sorts of cities whether it be specifically British, or European and even American.

 CRITERION THEATRE

LONDON, England

3523190594742a0db9a7b1.jpg

Description: The Criterion Theatre is a West End theatre on Piccadilly Circus and is a Grade II listed building. It has an official capacity of 588. Work started on it in 1870 and it was opened in 1874 and serves as a popular venue for performances of all kinds.

NOEL COWARD THEATRE

LONDON, England

NoelCowardTheatre.jpg

Description: This theatre, originally called the Albery Theatre, is a West End theatre on St. Martin's Lane. It was opened in 1903 by Charles Wyndham, the man behind the Wyndham Theatre. It's exterior is of Classical style but its interior is very much Rococco. The theatre was given a makeover in 2006 and now bares the name of Noel Coward, one of Britain's greatest playwrights. It has a capacity of 872 and is now a Grade II listed building.

WYNDHAM THEATRE

LONDON, England

WyndhamsTheatre.jpg

Description: Wyndhams Theatre is another West End theatre, located on Charing Cross Road and opened by Charles Wyndham himself. It was designed by the architect W.R.G. Sprague, responsible for six other London theatres. It's capacity of 759 spans across three levels and it has now been given status as a Grade II listed building.

TROCADERO

LONDON, England

Trocadero.jpg

Description: Trocadero is a large entertainment complex on Shaftesbury Avenue, originally built as a restaurant but most recently used as an exhibition and entertainment space. The complex incorporates a number of historic London buildings, including the London Pavilion, that have in the past hosted the Palace of Varieties, the New Private Subscription Theatre, the Royal Albion Theatre, the New Queen's Theatre, the Argyll Subscription Rooms, the Trocadero Music Hall, the Royal Trocadero Music Hall, the Eden Theatre and the Trocadero Restaurant. The name 'Trocadero' derives from that of the Battle of Trocadero in Paris in 1823.

THE OLD VIC

BRISTOL, England

632px-

Description: The Bristol Old Vic is on King Street, Bristol, not far frmo the Floating Harbour. The complex includes the 1766 Theatre Royal, which claims to be the oldest continually-operating theatre in England, along with a 1970s studio theatre (the New Vic), offices and backstage facilities. Since the 1972 rebuild, it also incorporates the eighteenth-century Coopers' Hall as its foyer. The entire complex has been Grade I listed since December 2000.

Reason for Requests: These are all quite famous landmarks, of which SC4 would welcome more, they serve a city culturally and if they could function as theatres with jobs - even better. SC4 is a bit short on theatres.

A FUTURE CITY LOVER'S DREAM:

a 9x9 circular concrete platform. You place it out in the ocean near the shore. On top along the edge would be futuristic buildings/homes and in the center a rotary with a bridge or an underground network leading to the shore. For buildings with higher capacities the top would be occupied with a rotary with a ramp in the center leading down into the platform where there is parking, and elevator booths to the surface. The top of the platform would be a preferable 10 meters from the surface of the ocean to prevent waves from getting inside the parking area (IF IT IS LEFT OPEN). Maybe a decorative ring of lights could be added around the edge for that WOW factor. If you want more complete (or exact) sketches just message me! i'd love for someone to do this, as it could also allow for expansion to be made in the city without changing the terrain.
