Here's a park I've been working on today. It still needs some people, lamp post and benches.

The central fountain.

A cafe build in an old European styled building dating from when Europeans first went to Japan.

The small building where the maintenance tools are stored, also has a small health center.

That's a wonderful park art.  So awesome, especially the walkways.

Since it is August 6th, I thought I might create this very small park in one of my cities with a little memorial that reminds my Sims of a certain war crime incident exactly 69 years ago that has wiped out 90,000 people within an instant.

My first try with Deadwood's raised parks, the sorroundings of the Arts Faculty of the Universidad Metropolitana de Ciudad del Lago: more than 4 hectares of green areas.

Today I bring you these lovely parks:

 

 

 

The northwest park of the city of Telaris--lush and forested with a welcoming pond on the lower portion of its grounds

 

 

 

Uphill from it lies the Great Palace of Telaris, towering in an imposing manner over the park:

I also discovered there are more uses for freeway lights than just lighting up freeways.

In the last picture, is that a rugby pitch? Where'd you get that, if you don't mind my asking?

As I've menioned before, I really like your style. The dirt playground has a very strong contrast to the flowers growing on it though, seems a little too intense. I think it generally couldn't hurt to put some grass in there to blend things a little here and there.

Hum i honestly can't recall where i ve had that rugby field. When i open SimCity again i will look into its name

Thanks for the advice! The thing with grass is that it is very hard to plop, because it plops a very big area :S

Here is a neighborhood park made with a lot of MMPs and some Diggis stream lots. I figured it would be better if I made it by hand than just using lots for the paths and trees.

You mean smokers taking a break? I can almost see a cigarette box wedged into a door somwhere near... not to mention some folks stealing a smoke while on the clock. Tsk, tsk.

But seriously, I love details like these. I know there are some people crowds on rooftops of Maxis buildings, but I never noticed those light poles up there!

As for your park, I think it might be a bit heavy on walkways and lacking some simple open space - makes it look a bit hectic IMO. Great symmetrical layout, though!
