I have a tut on how to make parks but it is not finished yet.

Meanwhile, you would need these downloads to make my park.

SAM Street Addon Mod V3 PC:https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=19734&v=1 Notice for MAC users: I cannot find the SAM at sc4devotion's LEX, so you will have to find it yourself.

NAM Network Addon Mod Jan. 09 PC: https://www.simtropolis.com/modding/index.cfm?p=details&id=380 MAC:

Thank you and hopefully I can get this done as soon as possible.

I think there was a thread already like this... hmmm.... 34.gif

Anyways I'm going start off this thread with my downtown park area using, PEG's pond kit. It was from my old region Aertford.

Aertford City - Central Park

Here is a small GLR station in Central park. Passengers can take the GLR all the way to the main rail station, where they can transfer to High-Speed Rail or Regular Rail.

The next picture is the North-East corner of the park. You can the large blue building called blue corp. Where the CEO decided to build a pool on the roof for those really warm days. 3.gif

newcitynov3001235529218.jpg

A nice overview of the park.

And two nice night-shots of the park...

That's it... 35.gif

Wow, that's some amazing pics of your city park with the GLR. I would also incorporate the GLR in my cities but whenever i tried it the game crashed lol.

I thought about that for a while actually when I was building my region... The ground textures would have looked alot different from the grass textures though... So in the end I decided to use the regular GLR. Anyways thanks for the suggestion... 3.gif

These are the first pics I've uploaded that show anything more than just a neighborhood or city block.  They are all from the same city, which is not yet finished, but I think the BSC Parks combined with Peg's Pond and Stream Kits look pretty nice together.  I also added some of my own lots.  I don't use a great deal of custom RCI stuff, so please ignore the Maxis content.  It also seems I forgot to turn on the automata... oops.  Low-bandwidth warning: the thumbnails below link to very large mosaics.

This park begins with a pedestrian-friendly subterranean shopping area around the university and stretches under the highway to the zoo and stadium.  The pic was taken on a nice autumn afternoon.

That same day, a fly-over captured this image of a popular park in the middle of a residential district full of places to rest and admire the foliage.

A few months later, photos of the same areas were taken from different angles on a balmy spring evening.

Hope you enjoyed the visit!

@teeparex & elemented9 - Impressive parks. What are you using to create the walkways in the park? Are these from the PEG Scenic Drive Kit ?

@joshriddle - Very nice use of a small space.

@all - nice work!

I'm guessing those are tree farm plots, or is there a graveyard set that I've not come across yet?

Nelson Park

Sorry for the blank post everyone.  Retarted Simtropolis keeps deleting half of my post including all pictures when I post.  Thanks again Simtrop.

@ LylyCSM

I've changed the lots of a modular graveyard set in LotEditor (sorry, I don' remember the proper name of the set. But I think I donwloaded it from the Stex). On the initial lots there were many different tombs and mausolea, so, I basically deleted all of them except for one very simple tomb. Then I made some copies of this tomb and arranged them in this nice order.
