    South Wirdleonia: Mind The Gap

Railroads are a new transit invention recently making their debut in Schulmericho. The excitement about this new transit mode has spread rapidly across the country. Robinia, the capital of Wirdleonia and largest city in the south, is now the second city to establish a rail network. This is a true rail network, stretch across the northern edge of the city with multiple stations to serve residents. Ambitious plans laid out by Princess Katherine include links to Carmelcciase, Hestorbia, Tanagiers and East Atkinos. If her plans come to fruition, the entire southeast of the nation will be linked by rail in short order. Today, we are going to look at the first two stations in the northeastern part of town. The larger passenger facility is East Main and the smaller is Northeast. In another chapter, we will see West Main and Northwest Stations.

    town1_zpse66e92c4.jpg
The northeastern part of the city has been revitalized and expanded thanks to the new rail. Many new opportunities await!

    town2_zpsdf030a1a.png
The largest residential complex in town, Cat Head Corners, was built just one block away from East Main

    town3_zps5b1bd31b.jpg
The local merchants are thrilled with the new development

    lil1_zps5cea3a73.jpg
Northeast Station is at the very edge of town and serves the expansion of the city’s ninth district

    lil2_zpsefc616dc.jpg
It is scaled perfectly for the neighborhood

    lil3_zpsef7abb3b.jpg
The Regional Transport Office is just across the tracks. The boss can watch his trains go by and smile. “Wheeee! Look at ‘em go!”

    lil4_zps82e6fd08.jpg
Transit between each station is just one purr. Not bad price at all. And service is very frequent.

    lil5_zps259c958d.jpg
The local Transit Office is lead by Captain Joey Kangaroo. He lives just down the block and walks to work. Kinda ironic, isn’t it?

    main1_zpsa20891d7.jpg
East Main is a much bigger station. It is the hub for eastern transit in the city.

    main2_zps009ca30a.jpg
It is the focal point for an expansion of the city’s ninth district

    main3_zps8b95e80d.jpg
It has multiple platforms to accommodate future rail travel all across the region

    main4_zpsbda1185a.jpg
It also has a nice restaurant for those who want a bite before or after a ride. You can dine outside and watch the trains go by.

    main5_zpsccee78ce.jpg
Rail has reached the south and there’s no telling how much more it will expand. Only time will tell.

Really nice train station there. Fits in amazingly well with all the Mediterranean w2w buildings.

Looking forward to more of the network.

And some stuff you probably knew already. And maybe something you don’t care about. But, let’s just assume it’s all exciting and read it anyway!)

Today, we will examine a four page spread from the Bureau of Feline Affairs News Update. Awesome. Just read the newspaper article and although I had no idea what was gojng on half the time due to not knowing the back story it was still very well written and laid out.

    Looking forward to more.

I read every word and I am glad that the BFA has caused a Q & A to be published.  May there be more of those.  They were spot on with the question that many humans seem to find troublesome re: cats.  Now, can't wait to see what and when exactly BB Bower leaves for Schulmauckland.

Calling All Kiwis! Calling All Aussies!

2013 Schulmania State Visit to Australia, New Zealand & Fiji

    image293.jpgimage3071.jpgimage308.jpg

The Supreme Wirdle has, on the behalf of the Government of Schulmania, accepted the most gracious invitation of Mr. Craig Abcivvis, Simtropolis Minister of Kiwi Affairs, to send a delegation to the International Feline Appreciation Society Symposium to be held in the Schulmauckland capital, Port Felix. The Bureau of Feline Affairs Ambassadors, Sir Ollie and Miss Millie, have invited the feline delegates to added a cultural and sightseeing expedition to the South Island of New Zealand. The highlight of the working vacation will be the Intercontinental Purring and Petting Contest, sponsored by Fancy Feast of New Zealand.

She has dispatched B. B. Bower, Archduke of Schulmanicus to lead a contingent of dignitaries from Schulmanicus to the far southwest, to the Schulmauckland region beyond the Sea of Simtropolis.

The Bureau of Feline Affairs Consulate in Sydney (NSW) Australia has invited the delegation to visit and the archduke has agreed to do so. The Melbourne (Victoria) BFA consulate has also sought to make arrangements for a visit and the details of doing such are being left to the ‘little people’ in the back offices while us important folks chase strings and curl up on couches. Through the use of SODT (suspension of disbelief technology), the Schulmanator-led delegation will arrive off of the Schulmania region map and onto the Australia/New Zealand map.

The delegation will depart the port of Busscastle for Friendsville in late June. The archduke will fly on the inaugural flight of Nyan Airlines, Schulmania’s first feline airline, departing from Friendsville/East Tenne International Airport for the canine Dominion of Schulmauckland.

    image4261.jpg
Nyan Airlines will stop at Fiji to refuel and allow the Schulminion delegation to meet feline fans in Fiji

What can one expect during such an adventure? Well, our media outlet in Schulmauckland has released some pictures of the South Island of New Zealand to inspire the masses:

    Lowkee4.jpg
A cruise on the Doubtful Sound is in order…

    Kawarau_Bridges_2.jpg
Despite the Kiwi origins of bunjee jumping, the Schulmania delegation assured the Supreme Wirdle there will NOT be any jumping on this trip!

    Aspen_19.jpg
It will be the beginning of ski season in Queenstown. For the Schulminions, the idea of skiing in July is unprecedented. Well, skiing itself is virtually unprecedented in Schulmania too. But the ski lodge does have very nice cocoa with big marshmallows!

[Hey, wanna see more of these cool pix? These are from Bean Rock on SimPeg, used with the gracious consent of the Schulmauckland government and can be found here: http://www.simpeg.com/forum/index.php?topic=6102.0]

To find out more about this visit, see the official 2013 State Visit Index by clicking the picture below:
