So I missed 2 pizza parties  that make me sooooo hungry for pizza I think I went through 4 lives.    the building stuff looks great  wait   Pawsume   like a thrift shop.     I once lived close to the middle of nowhere   sorry for the next phun    is the term  nowhere like going around in "The Buff"    lol  oh darn I just laughed away 2 1/2 lives.    can't wait to see what's next.

Schulmanicus: Noewhere

The newly-established Barony of Pyy on Pyy Island, north of Schulmanicus in the Tenne Sea, is home to the town of Pyy and the baronial manor of the local ruler, Baroness Christi. The town itself has two main parts; the primarily commercial lower town around the port and the primarily residential upper town further inland. In between the two sections is a large hill. It is here that the baronial manor was placed. When asked where she wanted her home built, she said “Nowhere in particular.” So, when it was built atop the large hill, it was called “Noewhere.” (The spelling was changed due to copyright issues from the Republic of Nowhere [you know where that is… I know I certainly have been in the middle of Nowhere a time or ten myself…].) Her lovely brick home has a commanding view of the town and the sea. Let’s take a look at Pyy, which is for now the northernmost settlement in Schulmania, as it is the first fully constructed city in The Northlands.
 

The lower town centers on the port. The road to the upper town is at top left.
 

The Municipal Services Building is located near the port and houses city offices, the local Bureau of Feline Affairs Office and the town library (top floor)
 

Commercial buildings line the streets near the port
 

The styles used on many structures is similar to those found on the home island of Schulmanicus, not far to the south
 

The commercial district is bustling
 

That pastry shop in the middle of the block is seriously calling my name. Pecan pie is gonna be mine!
 

Would you be surprised to know that prosperous Fancy Feast importers have set up shops and warehouses next to the port?
 

There are plenty of great places to help part you from your money too; the shopping is great!
 

In the middle of town, at the base of the hill to Noewhere, sits the Pyy’s Arms Hotel. This 5 star hotel has everything you could want in a hotel, including a catmint on the pillow.
 

Continuing uphill, we reach the upper town. This section is exclusively residential.

And now, at last, we have reached Noewhere! Here’s the manor house. It is reachable by a long, windy road up the forested hillside. This serves as an effective deterrent for the various door to door salesfolk!

Schulmanicus: Royal Wedding

As the Royal Wedding approaches, the bride to be, Baroness Christi of Pyy, prepares to depart from her home to go to the National Cathedral for the big day. This special event is being marked by a four day paid holiday weekend for all workers in Schulmania; a wedding gift to the nation from the Supreme Wirdle in honor of the wedding. The townsfolk in Pyy are preparing a great sendoff for their ruler as she departs by yacht from the port to arrive in the capital in time for Saturday’s wedding.


 

The Baroness’s bags are being packed in her manor home, Noewhere. Isn’t it great to have servants?


The staff is busy preparing while Christi takes a stroll in her garden
 

Once the bags are packed, everyone gathers to head down to town for the big sendoff
 

There’s a long, windy path down the hill. The baronial carriage has room for the luggage and the wedding party. Luckily, everyone packed light.
 

 



Residents of the Upper Town processed out to see the entourage head out to the port
 

 

A bridal shower was held in the grand ballroom of the Pyy’s Arms Hotel

Residents of Pyy and many well-wishers headed out to the commercial Lower Town to find items on the gift registry. Some of the items on the registry include: deluxe scratching posts, catnip mice, cardboard boxes, laser pointers, silver plated Fancy Feast serving spoons and more. Let’s see what we can find in town.

Gourmet catnip mice are to be found at The Catnippery, a feline boutique and café in a distinctively blue building

The city offices are decorated in honor of the special day. The Baroness is going to stop by and deliver a speech before heading off to the capital.
 

The wedding party heads to the port… and on to the wedding site at the National Cathedral
 

Well wishers wave from the windows as the ship sails off…
