Schulmanicus: 3.14

Welcome back to the Barony of Pyy. Pronounced "pie", you could say this northern Schulmanicus island is approximately 3.14. But, it is not square. I suppose they say πr² but every pie I see at the bakery is round. Perhaps that's a matter we can take up with the Baroness. She lives in her hilltop manor, Noewhere, surrounded by the subalpine forests which cover the island. Let's see what's going on in the non rectilinear town of Pyy.
 

The lower town, which centers on the port. Noewhere is uphill and the upper town is to the south (up and to the right in the picture above)
 

We arrive at the ferry terminal and are greeted by many local vendors
 

If you <3 bargains the way I do than this is the street for you!
 

Let's walk around town and see what's square... or round... or not!
 

No square pies in the corner bake shop...
 

Down by Milford's Sounds Recording Studio, we can see round stuff... like those uber cool and super chic newfangled Victrola records. On the ground floor, Grammy's Victrolas & More sells these fabo new devices!
 

Let's fortify ourselves for the ascent to Noewhere with a stop at Tapoley's Taphouse, a gastropub with a wide variety of saucers of milk. Cow milk, goat milk, buffalo milk, ... you name it. They even have wooly mammoth milk. I am not sure who their supplier for that is but I am sure it's a pretty exclusive deal...
 

And uphill we go...

Much to my displeasure the flash drive I brought with me with the Schulmania update on it seems to have bit the dust. So, instead I will regale you with one of my fossil finds pictures... some aquatic mammal bones from the 20-50,000 year old strata of the Aurora fossil beds... these are two of the first fossils I found. I got a lot of them... including the perennial crowd pleaser... coprolites!!!

 

 

I have a video of a cannon being shot (actually shot with a projectile, not just gunpowder) if you're interested!

Middle Tenne: Canal Plus
    
Inskip is a town in the easternmost corner of the Middle Tenne District and sits along the scenic and strategic Clinch River. Founded by Fleet Captain von Bremerhaven, Inskip features a whole lot of canals. Why? They better question is why not?! Let’s see what is going on in the riverside town today.
 

Lots of narrow streets accompany the many canals. It makes a great setting for today's Easter Egg Hunt!
 

Here we see the Mattamuskeet Motel. It’s named for the proprietor (Matt) and his musket.


The pedestrian crossings on the canals are good for fishing. We get catfish aplenty!
 

The Fleet Captain has a lovely monumental column in the middle of town
 

Let’s stop by the market. I want to pick up a box of catnip and a Diet Dr. Pepper. This will give me the energy I need to find my easter eggs!
 

 

Rivergate is hosting an exhibit on feline pottery and antique litterboxes. Perhaps we will go after we search the park for easter eggs!
 

Or maybe just a walk in the park…I hear most of the easter eggs are hidden here!
 

Bremerhaven Kirche is the largest church in town. Rev. Pocosin Lake will be preaching.
 

Schulmericho Chapel is hosting a special Easter celebration this morning...
 

 

The SchulmaniCorp Warehouses are hosting an Easter Egg Hunt this afternoon. Free candy for everyone! Come join the fun!

It's nice now that most of my school work is now done...
 
The old flag thing (and the one you showed on this page) only shows 175 flags, but there are more than that. (189 as of this post)

 

This one shows all of the flags at once, and should stay that way unless there's more than 225 flags.
