I 've read all the posts and looked on your site but for some reason I cannot find the SC4Update4BAT file. I've looked there 10 times and I just don't see it. I see a lot editor and bat installer.quote>

Ok, so I downloaded the update on the SC4 website succesfully and then installed the BAT update from here (it said it worked when I finished updating) but I still dont have nightlights...????????

I am looking for some particular files that I cannot find...pre-RH prop pack and Post RH1 prop pack. These are required for Jeorg's airport packs.

His link goes to Maxis and connects with bldg-1 and bldg-2 prop packs, and I cannot find the rh prop packs anywhere files anywhere (for windows xp).

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I'm in the same boat as a few others. I've downloaded and installed Update1 and then installed SC4Update4BAT. The problem is that I still have no nightlights on custom content. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm confused here. It says you have the bldgprops_vol1.dat and bldgprops_vol2.dat files but where is the download link for that?

For the bat updater it says "Old file not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since contents match".

Where is the update that makes you have the lights.

I'm having graphic issues after installing the update.

The parks don't look like parks anymore. Same goes for other things within the game. There are no driveways, certain structural aspect of the minor league stadium are missing, etc.

I contemplated re-installing sc4 deluxe and just leaving it...but I have all those new buildings looking pretty at night!

Any ideas what's wrong?

The updates reset the graphics settings. Some of these need to be on high in order for props and such to appear correctly.

I have installed both patches and still the buildings are not lighting up.  It seems from the thread I'm nt the only one.  Can anyone shed some light here?

First off, thank you a million times for putting these files up.

Now for the question. I'm on a Power PC Mac G4, and I'm not the most tech-savvy person in the world. I downloaded the Lot Editor Installer and the BAT Installer. My only problem is that they downloaded in .exe format, which my computer doesn't seem able to read. Is there any way I can get my computer to read these files that doesn't involve $130 for a program I'm only going to use once? I really want to use them, but I don't have money, and I'm really not very smart when it comes to computers.

To use the Lot Editor and the BAT you would need a windows system, so unless you have Virtual PC, no you will not be able to use them.

As far as I know, even Virtual PC won't help you to run LE and BAT on Mac. You have to be running Windows. Both programs require the windows filing system to search folders in order to launch. Therefore, VPC won't help you in this case.

Best thing to do is do what I did. Find someone who is giving away their old, obsolete PC and use that.

I don't know if this has been posted before, but I found a place to download the additional Maxis landmarks without registering at the Simcity 4 website.

I just got a new computer, and for some reason, I was could not log into the Simcity 4 website, so I did a websearch.
