Dear Nolan,

I've been your admirer ever since I've seen your files on the Stex for the first time. You have been doing outstanding job for years now, you never made huge noise and big deal out of your projects, but with every released BAT you've became more of a legend of this community. With this little speech I want to express my appreciation of your work throughout the years. You only get better with time and so do your BATs. You have left us speechless with Cadillac Tower and Carew Tower (and its badonk-a-donk) released one after another in a very short period of time.

Thank you for everything you've done for us, I and the rest of community greatly appreciate it. You are a true inspiration and a great role model for every BATter. Your work and you, dear friend, are:

Your BAT only hit the spotlight this morning if I remember correctly (better late than never I guess )... don't worry, I’ve noticed that deserving BAT's usually get at least a couple of days to themselves.

With all the fantastic Trixie-time content pouring into the STEX at the moment, I'm sure whoever picks the spotlights is having a hard time deciding between all the great uploads. Even the best BAT's might have to wait in line for a little bit...

Nolan! What an achievement. I'd say that this is the best old time skyscraper BAT out there. It's easy to just say you're an inspiration, but I think you've actually inspired me to try out something like this for myself.

So, for a while now people have been asking me to update my older BATs to make them compatible with DarkNite, and with Francis90b's most recent reminder, I have decided to focus on this! Many of my best BATs were released before SimFox came out with DarkNite, and they don't blend very well now if you use DarkNite in the game.

This is going to be a challenge, however, since I haven't done a very good job in the past keeping track of max files and textures and what not, so some updates will be difficult or require recreating things, and other BATs simply will not be able to be updated. But I'll do my best! You guys aren't the only ones who'd like to see some of my BATs in DarkNite. (I would too!)

That said, JasonCW got the ball rolling by updating my Bronx County Courthouse for me, and I have just uploaded it to the STEX!

Hope everyone is doing well. Now I desperately need to go get some Trixie nominations in!!

Very happy about you updating some older models, as much as i'd love to see some new stuff, it will be great when everything blends together.

Silly question possibly, but will there be any chance of bringing some of the older models (were they made in GMAX) like Third Ward Lofts, Main St shops, Ellsworth and Park Ave into the new era of BAT4MAX?

Anyway, keep up the great work as always.

So, it seems to have become my general M.O. on here: disappear shortly after the new year, only to return full-force again as the year gets long in the tooth. And so I'm back, with goodies to share!

1. Aqua | I have been working on this quietly for the better part of a year now, and it's finally nearing completion. It is a commercial building with a night club!

2. 826 N. Plankinton, Milwaukee | A charming little commercial building along the river in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Still a work in progress, but it'll go very nicely next to #3 below!

3. 834 N. Plankinton, Milwaukee a.k.a. Renaissance Books | A collaborative effort between me and JasonCW, this is now in Jason's shop for final texture tweaking and night lights.

I should to have more to show soon. Hope you all are having a good summer! (Or winter if you're south of the equator.)
