Oo I'm a Neon Gas of Simtropolis! :P Very cool Benedict!

What I found is that the two Okas (Towerdude's Okatabawashi and my Okaiken CJ) were in the same family and close together! :P17.gif

Wow that's so cool - what a creative way to showcase the Trixie winners! Now we just need to learn it... :P

Shouldn't Tungsten be W? :P

To search for the ideal city today is useless. For all cities are different. Each one has its own spirit, its own problems, and its own pattern of life. As long as the city lives, these aspects continue to change. Thus to look for the ideal city is not only a waste of time but may be seriously detrimental. In fact, the concept is obsolete; there is no such thing.

-Steen Eiler Rasmussen, 1898-1990 (SimCity 2000 User Manual).

That's awesome! I like where I'm located at the bottom; quite reactive and probably radioactive as well!

Just saw this flash across the homepage... What a fantastic piece of work - and one of the most awesome, non-custom content, contributions to the site!

Thanks, Benedict, for what must assuredly have been a great deal of effort.

Hi, everyone. Wow, I am overwhelmed by the response - I had no idea it would generate this much interest. I'm also amazed it has become an avatar trend...

There are minor corrections to the table (below). As always, if I have made any errors that you spot, please let me know.

    Replies:

Hi, rewright. Thank you! And congratulations on your first Trixie.

Hi, sim_link. Thanks for your support, and good to see your Trixie debut.

Hi, Vivapanda. Thanks - I am generally not a particularly creative person, but on occasion I can have a moment where the muse strikes.

Hi, Schulmanator. Thanks - and thanks again for the initial proof-reading.

Hi, Girafe. Thanks for commenting, and sending me a complete VIP list.

Hi, Sgt Pepper. Thanks - I'm glad you like it.

Hi, Nathanthemayor. Well done on your first Trixie, and you are one of the members who ended up with the same symbol as a real element.

Hi, TekindusT. Your element has been corrected. You're always noble in my book!

Hi, Jacksunny. Thanks for the thumbs up.

Hi, 111222333444. Congrats on your Trixie double-debut. There are probably all sorts of little associations in there, some intentional, some accidental. Although TowerDude won for Hong Kong 2.0, rather than Okatabawashi.

Hi, spursrule14. Thanks! And well done on your shiny new Trixie.

Hi, Mastof. Thanks for your comment.

Hi, Hittwice99. There will be a test at the end of the lesson...

Hi, ee99. Well done on your Trixie, and thanks for your comment.

Hi, Astronelson. Yes, Tungsten = W, however Tungston = Tu

Hi, Aaron Graham. Thanks, and welcome to the new trend. I am surprised how nice the elements look by themselves.

Hi, T Wrecks. Well, with the reception that this has received, how could I not do it next time around?

Hi, Bipin. Glad you like where you are, and congrats on your first Trixie.

Hi, NMUSpidey. Thank you very much. I really wanted the design to be clean and easy so as not to interfere with reading the table. I appreciate your thoughtful comment.

Hi, MamaLuigi945. Thanks - and well done on your Trixie debut.

Hi, vlasky. Thanks - that is very high praise indeed. I like your subtitle *;)

Hi, meister1235. Thanks - and I think you started the elemental avatar trend - nice.

Hi, CaptCity. Thanks for commenting - I really appreciate it. And one of the great things about doing this is that I got to look at every members page to get the stats - I learned quite a bit about our amazing community.

Hi, Cockatoo. Thank you. It did take me quite a while. Gathering info was a pain (of course i started this right as we had the big SC5-realted slowdown - you would not believe how many 500 errors I had to endure), then trying to decide how to organize it in the table took the rest of the time.

    Hi, Roger51. Thanks!

Hi, SimHoTToDDy. I'll miss the tank, but I am loving the avatar trend.

Hi, Element. Looking forward to seeing your Element avatar. I blame the Trixie awards... they started it all.

Hi, again, TekindusT. Your element has been corrected (although I see you did your own surgery for your avatar). I am flattered that you are using it as your avatar for a while.

Being a bit of a chemistry geek (I have the Periodic Table memorized and have started writing a series of orchestral pieces based on elements--going in atomic order), this is pretty awesome stuff! Yay to being a quasi-Lanthanide-type element!

I enjoyed the Trixies, as always, and Element's award triggered something in my brain...

    Who else indeed! Enjoy.

If you spot any errors, please let me know and I will correct them.

Ahhhhh! This was brilliant! I equate to Palladium! Oooh!

In the real table, my position is the element with atomic number 32: germanium, Ge.

    This is interesting.
