Season 4 Interlude 4

Welcome to 2012, and the first update of the year in Ellis Valley. We're still in the interlude, but plenty more to see. Today we're heading along line 3 of the Eloff El.

Here's the line diagram:

And here's the geography:

Let's start at the end of the line in Oxbridge... one of the most fun stations on the network.

The suburb of Oval Park is next.

Connect to EllisRail at Oxbridge.

Or perhaps your journey will be quicker if you change to the ferry network.

There are a couple of stops in Quelton...

...before crossing the river.

Only two stops to the loop...

The tracks for line 3 join the loop just before Short Street station.

You've seen the loop stations enough times, we're going to skip to where line 3 leaves the loop and heads into Lawson Park.

Line 3 runs along the edge of Elmouth for a couple of stops...

Then, after crossing line 2 at Wright Street, the remaining stations are in Westmouth. The first ones serve the industrial districts.

Before gradually entering more residential areas.

Finally we're in the old center of Westmouth, the market, with access to EllisRail.

And suddenly we're at the other end of the line, in the posh neighborhood of Cliffside.

Hi, emmotic: Welcome to Ellis Valley, Matt! Normally I would answer that my CJ is an acquired taste (much like Ella's Famous Burgers), and that, while some people stop by just once, others are addicted interested after the first taste. In your case, I see you have already become quite interested!

To answer your question, it could be possible to solve the season 4 contest with just the strange writing, but it becomes much easier in the context of the updates they feature in.

Hi, Velocity264C: From our PM chat, I am glad you got to see the whole image finally. And welcome to the story!

Hi, Nathanthemayor: This image is 3 city tiles: 1 large (Eloff and evirons) and 2 medium (Elmouth and Westmouth). You can easily see the edge of Eloff and the connections to the 2 eastern tiles near Westwood Park and Lawson Park stations. I created the image by taking many in game pictures (about 70 for the large tile, about 20 for the medium tiles) at night and piecing them all together in photoshop. Some photoediting for a darker night (and where the el lines go behind prominent buildings) and the highlighted lines, and voila!

Yeah!!!

It was pretty hard actually. I first thought about moving the letters till i get something i could recognize. Then i thought the messages were words from the reports. I could not understand why every message started with the same letter.

Then i look for important words in the others updates when it finally struck me , "Lets try with titles" i said. And as soon as the numbers start to coincide i knew i was on the right track. Made a huge image just to be sure that the words all coincide and bam!

Now Roger McGregor is coming to season 5! (I would ask for a map but got no real CJ or MD going on, although im working on something)
