Nice progress, although it seams that Westmouth is turning into a rather bad place to live in.

Also, seams like handball is the only kind of sport Ellis Valley's men are good at, maybe they just need more stadiums...

Hi, Schulmanator. Oh, no, not Dallas. I'll give her a quick call, and she can schedule a week in rehab a la Lindsey Lohan.

Hi, emperordaniel. It's a bit weird, that town - I generally play in a very similar style with taxes, growth etc, but for some reason this one is always on the edge of falling apart economically.

Hi, MTT9. The houses near the coast are very well off, but the rest is a bit industrial. You'll see on the big map (coming soon) how this fits with Elmouth and Eloff.

Hi, sim_link. Yeah, it is always on the edge - and I haven't been able to do too much about it.

    Hi, SimCoug. Also true!

Hi, Schulmanator. The results aren't too bad considering this is Ellis Valley's first time competing.

Hi, MTT9. Aiming for one medal - that would be a good first time result.

Now it's time for another part of the Season 4 Census.

    200 years of Ellis Island!

The growth gif was popular, so here is the next large area of Ellis Valley...

    ...Ellis Island.

Ellis Island is comprised of one large tile (Eloff and its satellite towns) and two large tiles (Elmouth and Westmouth).

I couldn't find a website to host this at full size (20mb). This is at 40% size - a much more reasonable 3mb.

This is definitely the commercial powerhouse of the region. In the 100 years that have elapsed since the year 100, residential has grown 70%, commerical a whopping 186%, and industrial a paltry 1%.

Incredible, it has grown a lot! Will you ever add a highway system? Or is it just way to early to do so?

Hi, Schulmanator. I expect commercial growth to continue in Eloff, barring a major crisis.

Hi, MTT9. Highways? You'll have to stay tuned to see if they are implemented in season 5.

Hi, crazychickensc12. Thanks. I'm just sad that the full size gif is too huge to show, but I made the original one I showed a bit bigger.

Hi, SimCoug. Glad you like the gifs. And I see them creeping into your own CJ - nice.

Hi, Schulmanator. Yes, Ella's delicious burgers - made with all natural ingredients!

Hi, SimCoug. What most of the SimCitizens of Ellis Valley don't know is that Ella uses a top secret ingredient (all natural, of course) that makes the burgers deliciously addictive - and they don't really care what they wash them down with, as long as they keep coming.

Hi, vivapanda. Absolutely, although you may want to stay close to a bathroom - some people's digestive systems can be a bit delicate. If the urping gets too frequent, worse is usually to follow. Ella's burgers - delicious on the way down... and on the way back up!

Hi, Hazani Pratama. Thanks - I try really hard to make the rural parts of Ellis Valley look realistic given the confines of vanilla SC4RH.

Hi, MTT9. You heard correct. In fact, I feel the urge coming on to head over there.

    Now it's time for another...

    .simlympicupdate.jpg

    Update 1

Ellis Valley wins first gold medal ever - congratulations to the Mixed Doubles Tennis Team, who defeated Sunrise Empire.

Our opponents fought valiantly to win a tight first set, 6-7, however we dominated to take the next three sets 6-0, 6-2, 6-0.

    goldbl.jpg

    Edit: mini-update

Ellis Valley's two women tennis players are in the gold and bronze medal matches. Worst case - Silver, best case - Gold#2 and a bronze!

Hi, MTT9. Thanks to you as well.

Hi, Fox. It is always interesting to see how cities progress - the timelapses are a fun way to do the census each season.

    Update 2 - Final!

Wow, Ellis Valley did really well in its first ever Simlympics with a haul of seven medals.

Two gold in tennis (mixed doubles, women's singles), and one gold in women's trampoline.

    One silver in synchronized swimming.

One bronze in tennis (women's singles), one in women's trampoline, and one in baseball.

Thanks to our host city, Atarashima - it was a blast.
