As the name suggests, these are corner lots.

- Pho Kingdom

- By Pho the Best!

- Pho Kaufman

- Pho You Pho Me (a real life pho place in Koror, Palau)

Stats:

Lot Size: 2x2 corner

Plop Cost (bulldoze): 4400 (100)

Jobs: 31

Wealth: Medium

Power: 3

Water: 3

Pollution: 1/1/15/0 @ 1/1/0/0

Dependencies: The number of times I have been disappointed by pho.

Credits: Thanks @rsc204 for the iid range.

Me thinks someone's a little bit obsessed with Pho, lol.

Just don't start composing a song about it, we already had to deal with that when a certain "Weird Al" Yankovich got a little too obsessed with Spam🤣👍

P.S. "Spam" [parody of "Stand" by R.E.M.] is actually a pretty good song. It's funny too.

@nightbird615 more Asian shops will be coming.  Look out for at least one, maybe multiple Little Asia Packs.  My first foray into Korean is here:

Hey, I just realized something. If Pho really is pronounced as 'Fa', you may want to be careful saying this file's name out loud, as it sounds dangerously similar to a certain swear word. Perhaps instead of Pho King Corner Pack, you may want to change it to 'Pho Kingdom Corner Pack', 'Pho Restaurant Corner Pack', or just 'Pho Corner Pack'. Just thought I'd mention it.

Hmm, interesting since I only used maxis props and textures other than the models as far as I can remember.  Can you send a screenshot?

I decided to check on my end to see if I could figure out what might be the issue, starting with installing the PEG OPPS/OOPS mod to change the brown boxes to smudges to more easily identify the offending prop(s). Judging by the location of the OPPS smudge, upon switching to the Lot Editor, I found the offending prop was either  0x5f86a000<Un-Named>  or  0af1e3abd___20H_phocornervarious, the former of which overlaps the latter.

I then decided to move the latter prop outside of the former's radius in order to isolate the two props in question, so as to more easily see which of them was the issue, before saving it as a test lot and then installing BLaM Blank. Sure enough, upon installing loading SimCity 4, then plopping the newly created test lot, 0af1e3abd___20H_phocornervarious  turned out to be the offending prop.

Don't know why it's not working properly. I'm certainly no expert on this sort of thing (I don't even know how to BAT). At the very least, I'm glad I was at least able to isolate the problem, thereby hopefully making it easier for you to resolve on your end.

...And now the buildings themselves are missing???🤔

Update seems not to have fixed anything. The missing dependency flag/brown box is still present, while the building model props seem to have vanished entirely.

Not sure why this is happening, but this is a rather troublesome (and frustrating) situation. I'm starting to think maybe it would be better to have each building be their own lot rather than plopping at random (similar to your functional diagonal filler convenience store lots)???

Also, KarafutOil is showing a missing dependency flag/brown box as well.

Well, I’m pretty disappointed as well since this took some time to redo and several iterations of gmax screwing up the exports, catching them at different zooms, and exporting again.

this file has kind of dampened my enthusiasm for BATTING at this point.  I appreciate the honest feedback; there’s a lot on my plate IRL and I thought I could give back to this great community.  But if my files are causing more grief than enjoyment , might be time for me to move on to other things for a while.

sorry for the inconvenience .

Understandable. I mean you've got a lot of good stuff, but yeah, perhaps a little break would be good for ya. I'm sorry if I brought down the mood here (on the bright side, the Little Asia Pack works just fine). Of course, its entirely possible that the issue is with the game itself (More specifically, MY version of the game). I use the original version, rather than the newer steam version, thus, if you're using assets that are incompatible with my decades old fossil of a computer (operating on Windows XP to boot), that could very be the cause of the issue as well). I mean, they appear to work just fine in your various screenshots in the forums, so if it's not a file compression or transfer error, it could very well just be that my computer is more ancient than the stone age).

On a side note, after plopping the lot and then exiting the city, upon reloading it notified me on a missing plugin by the ID No. 1356973379, so that my also be helpful. KarafutOil also resulted in the same thing, only the ID in this case was 1858117500.

No this wasn’t your computer.  The original glitch was something I deal with on gmax on export after export.  Something about it doesn’t like when I do self illumination mixed in the same overlap as a direct light or if I have lighting of different colors.  Then there are the texture glitches.  Usually I catch them but that time I didn’t.

the one now involves the family of props.  I’ll probably just take the faulty shop out of the rotation and re-release or just - as you’ve mentioned - make it like the rest of my releases that just have separate files you search for under landmarks.

no worries about the mood.  I’m not bothered.  Just reassessing how much BAT creation is worth the time input.  So I know you waited a while for this , and I won’t forget about it but it may be another long wait.

Totally agree. I did get brown boxes from the original download, but thanks to TheTimvh1's posts, I knew the issue would be resolved. Voila! The update worked for me, too. Thanks for persisting and persevering. I do so enjoy your work.
