DIAGONAL OVERHANGING VERSION.

More like a palace than a police station, this real building on Centre Street New York was built in 1909 and housed the New York Police department from 1909 to 1973.

The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

A fine example of the Beaux Arts style, they sure don't make them like this anymore.... 

This is the diagonal version. 

When modeling this, I have taken a number of liberties: most notably squaring off the back of the building (in real life it is an odd wedge shape that doesn't fit any of the NAM FAR roads, so it would have been pointless to remain true to the original in terms of usability) and I haven't included the little projection to one side.

Given the classic architecture, this will work equally well in either a New York scene or a European one.

This follows on from the ortho version I released a couple of weeks ago (please note that you do not need that version for this to function). With this diagonal version, once you have placed the 1x3 lot, use ped malls, parks or plaza pieces (there are thousands available) to decorate to your taste the blank space around the building.

All my police stations are specially modded and will squash the crime bug that plagues large lots such as airports and golf courses. This building is no exception, and it also has a massive coverage radius and capacity.

Being a Police station, it is found in the police menu. The buildings provide employment for 294 of New York's finest SIMS.
