Having received a tip-off from a user on Simtropolis that Clayton, MO would have a number of buildings that might interest me, one such unusually shaped building that caught my eye on Google Street View was a branch of the Midwest Regional Bank.
This is a really eye-catching mid-century mid-rise building that definitely helps break the grid when it grows. It isn't a strict recreation as I have deliberately shortened the red-roofed entrance area to fit the building onto a smaller 2 tile deep footprint.
Also, with thanks to another member on SC4Devotion, the building has been rotated and turned into an overhanging prop so that it can be plopped to conform with the NAM 2x2 curve piece. It also works with the larger curve, as the images show.
Collaboration is indeed alive and well.
The building is offered in two different and two unique model formats.
1) A CS§§ growable on a 3x2 lot providing 167 jobs.
2) A ploppable CS§§ overhanging 1x1 lot that is rotated and conforms to the NAM 2x2 curve piece. It also provides 167 jobs and is found in the landmarks menu.
