SUGC’s ModPack For SimCity 2013

To help promote SimCity SUGC have compiled the most current mods that have been created into one downloadable and simple to install package.


Installing Instructions:

The Installer will take care of the uninstallation of the old packs/mods.

If you installed SimCity to the default Origin folder you can start installing right away. If you installed SimCity to a custom folder you need to browse to your \simcity folder and start installing there.

Some mods need a game restart after you have created a new region for them to work.

Also some mods needs a bit of background explanation how they work so if you don't get
how a mod works, please visit the respective page.

Cities of Tomorrow Expansion pack is needed for some mods.


Does not work on pirated copies of the game. Simtropolis does not support pirating in any manner.

Ive tried installing and uninstalling this modpack a few times, but it doesn't seem to show up in game.

I don't understand this, but I have played the mod and everything was fine (hadn't restarted game at this point), now when I have come back to the game for some reason any building under medium wealth value is turned into high wealth and its pissing me off! What have you done to my game?!!!

In addition, make sure you delete old mods before installing / Ausserdem, löschen Sie alte mods vor der Installation

          hi my name is Edward  schroeder                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                I added a coal mine but it is not detecting coal underground and it is not working properly. I think the problem might be a conflict with other

files. Tell me how to fix it. I already have a good city going and don't feel like doing it over again it takes so long to build a city.

Got just that simple question, when I build a bus depot or any other building to which you can add vehicles (fire depot etc.) I can't add additional vehicles on the depot's terain (can't do something like this : http://oyster.ignimgs.com/mediawiki/apis.ign.com/simcity/thumb/9/99/Busdepot.png/468px-Busdepot.png).I can easily build them next to roads, but I'd like to build them as well where they were intended by the developers. Can anyone suggest me how to repair it ?

i have one problem i cant plot any buildings from rci mod on regional streets to expand my city, i can plot them only in the original area, someone knows why and could help out?

Help please. Building a regional road, but I see them just out of town from which built. I go into the neighboring towns and nothing.

That is the city-2 does not see regional roads constructed city-1. How to connect the tunnels ...

The mod dindn't works, by this mod the game crached every time I would start the game! Can someone explane me how to install the mod well? Thanks!

If you have trouble with the "no extraction" of minerals and oil take a look to the 3k mod:

It's nice to have all of the mods in one neat package. Since some of the mods conflict with others, it would be nice to have a list  of "known issues" or maybe a thread where users/testers can post those that they've come across.

 

I came across the following:

 

The three UDON packages listed below causes incomplete bulldozing of the hospital elements. Nevertheless, I keep them loaded--it's a tiny encumbrance for an invaluable feature to the game!

On my machine (Win 8.1) the following mods cause SimCity to crash on exit. (See alert below.) Removing them from the "SimCityData" folder resolved it.
 
They load fine and work without issue in-game. It's just the annoying pop-up at the time of exiting the game. So if you're not a stickler about a "graceful exit", then leave the files alone.

Thanks for this, but as has been reported numerous times by various people, I also have a problem with getting the game to launch with this mod-pack in place. And just this pack, I removed all other mods, before I tested with this.

 

Which "old pack and mods" does the deletion script handle exactly? I suppose this script also remove the known incompatible ones?

 

I was gonna write a blog post with a HowTo on how to get this mod-pack working on a Mac, but I see there are a few of these "known to be incompatible" mods with one or more of the non-Akar-ized mods. Why not just ensure the mod-pack itself only contain known compatible mods instead of relying on a script that needs to be updated if new reports on incompatibilities are reported in the future?

 

I applaud the SUGC member(s) who has the best of intentions for making this pack, as I know keeping track of a mod-pack is not a cake-walk, but I have this expectation of a mod-pack: that if it is released, it is guaranteed to work, you know? Which means all the known incompatible mods won't be there when I extract the archive...

The description says they are all compatible with eachother wich they frankly are i have em all installed and working on my machine and its tested on various other machines without any problem's (quirks here and there from the mods itself but they do that on there own as wel :P) 

 

we are getting various reports though that incidently ppl get crashes on lauch with the world trade plaza or these 2  City Wide Distribution Enhancement of Drone Hangars, Street With No Traffic Lights .

 

thats bout it and remember if you dont understand a mod doesnt mean its broken try to read the mod description at the according pages if you dont know how a mod suppose to work

can you pls post a screeny of your modfolder this was a known problem with one of the older roads without traffic lights or the bi level roads from max

if you update both it should be fixxed

looked some further into it and it appears you have a file wich isnt installed by the pack and thats also the conflicting mod i think, the sugc pack only contains udons1.8 since 1.9 is kinda broken so u only need the OFFLINE-ONLY_Unidirectionalnetworks.package and 009_offline_dlc_ui_objects_team1_20140818_1_8_Udon.package files get rid of the 1.9 mod
