The Future Project; abbreviated as FP, entails the creation of 3dsMax-modeled futuristic structures to fill the niche of modern buildings in SimCity 4. Undertaken by myself; Bipin, AndisArt and KellyDale, the project aims to accomplish this task with the creation of a cohesive, complex and sculptural albeit suggestively functional aesthetic.

Included in this particular download is the first building in this series. A series which you can expect to see contributed to by the aforementioned BATers. This particular building can be found in the power menu, for it represents a myriad of structures, but with the common factor of having to do with cooling/exhaust/ventilation in conjunction with power generation. As of July 20th, 2013, the file has been updated with the most recent, patched version. Additionally, you'll need the following dependency: http://workingman-productions.co.uk/downloads/wmp_power_lots.html

Certainly three great BAT artists working together and what a stunning piece of art they've produced.  Thank you for the upload.  :)

Looks great! I just downloaded it and took a look at it in-game and it's much smaller than I expected. No complaint, but for some reason I thought it would be the size of a tall skyscraper from your pics.

It's the exact same size, both the zoom-five renders in-game and here are identical... :P Perhaps you are zoomed out at, say zoom four or farther?

That's so creative, a very unique structure for sure. Nice touch with the red warning beacons at the top.

One suggestion: maybe upload the files in a ZIP archive, instead of RAR. Might be easier for some people.

A .rar archiver is unfortunately the only one I have on this craptop laptop.

I'm not a kind of futuristic player or something, but this BAT is definately worth a shot, two or three!

I seem to have an issue with the night lighting. It won't stay on for more than a few seconds,it's not flickering-the intervals of it being on and off are very far apart. It just randomly goes on when its dark stays on for a few seconds then turns back off. I love the look though when it is on.

Thank you very much for the kind words everyone, as well as the STEX feature, to whomever suggested/did this! :D

This is a problem inherent with the game itself as far as I know and not something I, as a BATer, can fix on my end. That's what I've heard at least. If anyone has more on the issue please do elaborate!

I've downloaded this, but it never lights up and isn't even named. What dependency am I missing...

What IS this building exactly? It's beautifully made, but what purpose does it serve? What type of zone is it, if any? Is it a power station?
