main station is not very good, just a few boxes and windows. ):
The area with the cranes is pretty good for a freight station.
Stats are completely unrealistic. ):
Textures need a lot of work . ):
Overall: 3/10
Please look in the forums and on google images for real-life freight stations.
Trust me, I have faith that you have potential.

I would not categorize this as meticulously detailed... If anything I would classify it as undetailed, but that's to be expected of new BATers

The flat roof actually works well here. The main BAT itself fits visually well where intended. Still, there are few changes that you could make.

You should add some roofjunk to it and cover that black hole with something. Flat brown area needs some more work, like entirely other texture (does it even have texture?) and few props.

The biggest problem, however, is that freight stations should be designed as "easy to by pass" stations, because they block passenger trains entirely. Multiplatform lots like these require extended lengths of extra rail, if freight shares the network in question with passenger trains. Let us worry about amount of rails and platforms near these stations and concentrate the BAT itself.

Good luck to you. I look forward your next work.

Now why would you zip up an rar? Rather silly, and many systems can't unpack it without additional software. Not smart.

A badly needed lot, so thanks. Should revise the packaging to be just a .zip however. My system unpacks anything, but not everyone can do that.

I would like to thank all of you for your feedback. I realize there are a few edits to be made so I plan to release a version 1.1 soon.

This edit list has a few items that were recommended and a few I want to add myself, here they are:

1. Fix the unloading area. I'm going to add a longer area for the freight trains to park. Should make it easier to add more props and maybe a street access to the side door.

2.Fix the loading area (the brown wood area). I'm getting rid of the base to it and replacing the poles around it with a stone wall prop most likely, right now I can't get objects to show up entirely. (They vanish slightly)

3.Fix the black roof hole. That was going to be for a crane, but it didn't work out so well.

4.Add a new line for passenger at the top. Just as a visual cut through.

5.Fix the rail line clutter. Some of the signs are turned the wrong way.

6. Change it to a .zip file. Thought I did that...

Now I do have a few wishes if you all can help me.

Wish List:

1. Some inanimate trains that are parked on the back two lines. They need to have some clutter and I can't find any trains in the LE

Thank you very much for your feed back on this BAT.

Just as a footnote, I have done a few other BAT's but haven't posted them because they had either poor quality on the building or were to large lengthwise.

Test results:

There are not three tracks as advertised, only one though track with two sidings.

The route query operator does not show the traces within the lot. A slight annoyance.

With three tracks one could set up a large central rail terminal with three railways working separately to allow a huge industrial pod or pods to pass their freight through the station. This is rather limited, as one can see from the snapshot.

Not a good idea to add a passenger line. I often separate the two sets of tracks. Be one thing only, and do a very good job of it. As it stands in this version 3/5.

Looks very generic, mostly Maxis props (the dependencies are worth it I'm telling you), the description's screenshot advertises false info: 2/5.

I think some of you are confusing lack of detail with underdetailing - It's a freight station. It's a big block with doors on it. This does not need to be overly complicated.

The difference between a seasoned BATer and a new BATer in most BATs are observation and amount of details that are added that aren't noticed, but add to the quality of the BAT and more professional looking textures. Stuff that is deceivingly plain and bland has a lot more going on than one would think.

I've fina;;y made something worth while- you'll get there to- eventually- take a little more time- My tug that I recently released has a lot in the way of detail and thats what people like- something more visable is a great thing to have- 3/5

I like it, it looks really cool and could fit into any setting, but it looks a bit too "clean" for a freight station unless it has just been build.

Idk why but for me the capacity is only 6. There are also some weird textures that show the background grid. Is there anyway to fix this?
