G'Day Simtropians,

 

This map I wish to present today is courtesy of a request from Sc-4 at SC4D, Thanks mate. It is of La Réunion, an island in the Indian Ocean that is part of France.

 

 

See me up CLOSE and personal.

 

This is a real world map and was produced with dem and satellite data. It measures 65.536km x 61.44km and utilising 16bit mapping technology, it is in .SC4M format. Wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer is required for importation. The map is terrain and scale accurate.

 

A readme has been included containing some links and instructions and a picture.

Argh, I want to build cities high up in the mountains but every terrain mod I know of makes even remotely high areas snowcapped. Are there any terrain mods without snow?

Love this map - it gives a lot of space for building on the shore in a couple of areas, and lots of places for rural/mountain building.
