About This File

Mother Nature Plaza
--
It's another sunny day, you're walking down Central Avenue and you start to feel tired. Suddenly you round the corner and Mother Nature herself is standing before you in all her half-naked glory. Delighted, you find a bench and pop a squat to enjoy the day relaxing amidst downtown skyscrapers.

Do you like Plazas? Do you like Mother Nature? Do you just like large statues of women? Then this is the lot for you. Made to fill in those gaps where you just don't want to grow another Maxis office building, Mother Nature will gladly take up the space with her concrete base, designed to be the centerpiece of any city, (or town if you want). Sporting a nice Forest Green skirt, (and nothing else), she'll help remind your sims just how in tune with Nature they can be when relaxing under the sun on a nice cozy bench.

In slightly more seriousness, I'm glad I was finally able to BAT a plaza for once after ten or so uploads. This plaza will act like any other park in-game except for like, one or two stats i "tweaked". I'm not sure if I made the statue herself big enough, but I don't want it dominating it's surroundings. So I think this is a nice median.

Credit though goes elsewhere for the Female model. I take no credit for it's creation except for small changes such as retexturing, and abide by the source site's terms of use.

Once downloaded, extract the folder inside titled "Mother Nature Plaza", and place said folder inside your SimCity4/Plugins folder. It should now appear in your Parks Menu in-game.

Uninstallation:
Bulldoze all instances of the lot in your city tiles, quit the game, and then remove or delete all files relating to this download from your Plugins folder. It should now be completely removed from your game.

"Mother Nature will gladly take up the space with her concrete base" - gotta love the irony in that! :P

Seriously, I like the raised plaza concept and how you took this statue and used it for SimCity. Pretty much my only issue with the BAT is that nearly all of the textures could use some darkening and desaturation in my opinion. Compared to its surroundings, the plaza stands out in a rather striking manner. A more subtle overall effect might do your efforts better justice.

Reminds me of a statue in Downtown Pueblo, Colorado that stired up contravercy a few years back. Its a statue of the goddess Diana in all her full nude glory. This is simaler to that. Great job.

The plaza is very nice and looks great, my only suggestion would be that the statue textures look a little "clean" maybe you could rub some dirt on it or something. ;) Nice Work! I'm deffinitly downloading.
