Wow, superb job! Personally I never play tropical scenarios, so I never thought about the lack of a palm tree mod, but now that I see this download, I realise how right you are - and it looks to me like you fixed this problem stupendously.

What a sweet mod, I too thought the palm trees didn't fit well either. I love this one, looking at the picture shows a beautiful scene with bustling trees not the plain giraffe necked one the game has by default. Thank you so much.

Fantastic!! I did not read the description properly the first time.  Paeng pointed me back here.  So this does for Palm trees what c.p.'s mod does for aspens, birch, etc.?

 

What if I wanted to replace ALL MAXIS TREES (not just the palms) with Heblem's palms?  Could you tinker with this mod for it to be able to do that?
