Larger Cul-de-sac Mod

This mod changes the NAM street roundabouts and 4 SAM streets into large cul-de-sac's for suburban areas of cities.

Install:
Place the entire "z___Larger Cul-de-sac mod" folder into your "C:\My Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins" folder
DO NOT CHANGE THE NAME OF THE FOLDER OR PLACE IN ANY SUB-FOLDER. The z_ is required for it to load correctly.

Dependencies:
NAM is required.

Thanks to Bryan1998 for helping on SAM textures, Metalpuritan and Magneto, for finding solutions to past compatibility problems, and thanks to Spinmaster for the request.

minsterkermy: It basicly edits textures of the NAM round-a-bouts. That's it. Just drag a street like you were to make a roundabout.

love it, except these will NOT be responsive to any custom sidewalk textures:

dogma: The NAM team didn't make wealth dependent textures for the street roundabouts. Something out of my control.

I looked, i read, i said no, i thought, i came back, i rated an i downloaded, ya had me at cul :) this is going to really make my lil richie rich suburbs actully look like suburbs xD

For the life of me, I cannot seem to locate the cul-de-sac image at all when toggling through the streets section. I have both NAM & SAM, everything else appears to be there & in the right directory but this. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated. I am new to mods, please bear with a newbie.

Lurker72: The NAM cul-de-sacs are simply draggable. Drag the street in a 2x2 circle and it will turn into a roundabout.

To combine this mod with the [link=http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/22267-no-grass-mod/]No Grass Mod[/link] by sithlrd98 and the [link=http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/21972-nam-roundabout-fix/]NAM Roundabout Fix[/link] by vershner, put the files of this mod into the 'Street Addon Mod' subfolder. This way your road and street roundabouts stay the same as before, the SAM roundabouts will be converted to Cul-de-sacs.
All of them will have the proper sidewalks.

Yep, I have spent ages trying to get it to work, with the right SAM/NAM whatever downloaded.  Really frustrating SC4 is sometimes.  But to confirm that yes, this mod does not work.

PS, I have never actually had roundabouts available to me in the game other than the large city ones, which are hardly residential.  So really not sure how some of you have them and others simply do not??.

NAM v31 and up does not support any other textures from other people, such as highway overpasses or cul-de-sacs. I REALLY hope this is fixed, because I loved this mod.

Just got back into SC4 and went to install this mod, followed the instructions but no dice.  I'm trying to fix it to work with the latest NAM and give it a refresh (i edited the textures on this about 8-ish years ago...)  Maybe i'll upload it when i'm done (if the OP finds it ok of course.)
