About This File

WMP Central Stations were built to be used with elevated and ground-level rail connections. Although one could use the station without them, NAM Viaducts are required to build track along the northern platform. Batted & Lotted by DocRorlach.

The station comes in three "flavours": Sandstone bricks, grey concrete hexagon tiles, and blue-grey slate tiles to accommodate various neighbourhoods. The sandstone & blue slate versions are available on the WMP Exchange.

Statistics:

Lot size: 8 x 5 tiles

Capacity: 4,500 passengers

Jobs: Jobs $ : 35,Jobs $$ : 7,Jobs $$$ : 2,R-$ : 35,R-$$ : 7,R-$$$ : 2

Plop cost: § 1375

Bulldoze cost: § 555

Monthly cost: § 35

Dependencies (these downloads are also available on the STEX):

* wmp_station_props.dat (HD props)

* wmp_textures02.dat

* wmp_bridgeprops.dat (only needed if you never downloaded WMP Bridges)

* Network Add-on Mod (NAM) for the viaducts

Credits:

Dave for testing and the midnight photography; Murimk, Shkthrpy, Becca, ABCVS and everyone else for keeping me at it and helping getting the kinks out of this project; DOSH for his Sim models; antics & valentas00 for the car models at the 3D Warehouse.

Problems?

If you have problems with this lot it is most likely that you did not download all the dependencies or - just as likely - that we made a mistake. You can contact us via email at Email me. Best include a screen-shot illustrating the problem. We also maintain a support forum at SimPeg.com

NOTE: Texture fix. If you have either wmp_textures.dat or wmp_textures02.dat you need to redownload these to effect the fix properly.

What's New 1.1

Released

  • Re-lotted road tiles to fix texture conflict when both wmp_textures.dat and wmp_textures02.dat were present.

The final product looks outstanding !!! I kept track of the development, and really glad you finished it. The nightlighting is excellent. :thumb:

Something about the base is weird. It looks like it's not really on the lot, but floating above it. It might just be the angle or it might be a lighting/camera problem.

I don't think it's absolutely perfect, but I really love the design. We definitely don't have enough of these types of stations on the STEX, let alone a gem like this. It will definitely be useful!

Yoshiisland: The base of this station is a prop - not a texture - hence the slight "floating" look. I did not want the usual broken up look you get with base/overlay textures.

Love the shape, the design, the interior work, and the reflective glass! This is a superb work. If it was just another building I'd be saying these things, but it's a transit hub! Extra praise needed.

Where to start? Props. Serious props. I couldn't agree more with a previous comment; the nightlighting is fantastic. No, FANTASTIC! I really appreciate the love for rail. Thanks for that. Please make more stations as you're clearly amazing at them. :)

It is very nicely done and is for sure a 5/5. I think that a higher capacity could really be used here though to represent a more realistic capacity. Other then that great job.

I know this is for the Viaduct Rail but is there anyway it could be made to work with El and Monorail like some of the stations at Bri Pizza? I have the BTm and Moon Lights Shinkansen(?) mod that improves the BTM/Monorail textures.
Anyways I have this installed and it looks fantastic 5/5
