About This File

This is a '60s/'70s international styled builidng I have done. It is dark, modern, and has an ugly almost windowless "core" on the back of it, which there is actually buildings in RL that have this. This one is more made up though. Nothing much to say and nothing to fancy. Made with Gmax.

Growable- CO$$ 1289 Jobs

Lot Size- 2x4

No ploppable. Only a CO$$ growable. Hope you will enjoy this! I hope the pictures came out right....

Could use a little more contrast between the facade's texture and the window texture to bring out the details, but doesn't look bad overall. Should be another useful filler building. Thanks!

Great filler building. I agree that a little more contrast would be helpful, but it is great as is.

@SgtPepper: Make sure your STEX pictures are exactly 250 pixels wide prior to uploading, then they will neither be downscaled nor distorted.

If it wasn't for the end it would look just like the Kettering Tower in Dayton Oh and so many other big black box towers. How about a few more versions. :)

The Inland Steel Bldg. in Chicago is like that: open office space, backed by utilities core, but it's green and silver. Good job, I like narrow office towers.

I really like the base of the building/ entrance, my sims thank you for the entrance, some BATs lack one and I always wondered how they get in the building to work. :)

Great BAT, but nightlighting could be improved by using trunight office windows; nevertheless it deserves a 5. Great job!

looks promising... keep it up, it does keep with that uninspired type of international styled high rises of that time...

Neat. Dig the "ugly" style (in a good way) and roof junk. The windows seem drab, but I think it fits the style well (if that's what you were going for). It all works well with that clunky "monolith" on the end.

LOVE this release. Superb details, especially the facade and roof. The only thing I don't like is the nightlighting. Would there be any way you could lower the intensity on the lights?

@SgtPepper: Well, that exactly is the problem: If the pics are larger, they get scaled down. That's not ideal, but can end up looking ok. However, when they are narrower, the get scaled up! This, in turn, causes some serious distortion which makes the pictures look horrible. Your night pic was less than 250px in width, so it got distorted.

@T Wrecks- Ah, more useful tips! So it needs to be exactly 250 Pixels wide? And the height doesn't matter, correct?
