Paeng's Scrapyards  1.0

About This File

No city or region will be complete without some junkyards and scrapdealers around. They may not be pretty, but quite useful to anybody who is into do-it-yourself repairs.

Here are two scrapyards, one for rural (3x2) and one for urban (4x2) settings.

They are not too expensive to plop and maintain, both use some power and water and have a slight NIMBY effect, so allow a little room to adjacent residentials.

Dependencies

--------------------------------

Again I used very basic files, which you most probably have:

Rural version:

* PEG_MTP_SUPER_RESOURCE_PACK

Urban version:

* BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol01

* PEG_security-props.dat

Enjoy :-)

-CB Note:  Fixed dependency links. Thanks again to @hugues aroux for reporting.

Cool. Does it contain or do you plan to implement decrease of garbage collection? I mean, if you put in in your city, it should fill-in a part of garbage collection needs.

What a great idea. I've had a city that I modeled after the San Fernando Valley in Southern California that's never felt quite complete. Now I understand why, it's been missing all the scrap yards that are over near to Sunland and Tujunga. This will definitely allow me to finally complete my SFV city scapes. Thanks for sharing. 5/5

Hi this lot seems to not appearing in my garbage menu despite i have all the dependencies for both rural and urban. Picking only rural also not working assuming that i can only pick one. Looking at the files, there are only two sc4lot files, but no sc4model files. Could this be a problem or something else? By the way, the BSC Mega Props - SG vol01 i have is the SG vol01 version 02.

I set up a empty plugins folder and just had paeng's file plus the linked dependencies, just to check there weren't any other issues and both LOTs look ok, so its just a matter of being in a weird place ... I certainly wouldn't have though parks, but with an empty plugins folder it made it easier to spot them  *:yes:
