About This File

This is my first lot thingy BAT.. whatever.. uploaded to STEX and I just wanted to see how it would do. There is no special nightlighting.. I haven't learned that part yet.

I'm only 14 and I still have a lot of school.. so some time in my spare time I will try to l learn that and try to make buildings and stuff. so... well enjoy!...I guess. lol.

UPDATE....

I'm working on learning the nightlights and going to update this so that it has lights (little floor lights shining up at the words.) so I'll try to do that soon! make this BAT a little better!

OK! well I'm not gonna work on that any more... I'm currently working on the a building located in CA USA. It's Almost done. It will probably be a couple months or more.

Don't worry.. I'm taking my time on this one and making it look as much as the real thing.

After I'm done working on that maybe I'll update this with those features and make it look nicer and more real looking "Whoa" statue thing.

Very creative, but how would it stand up? Would need some support beams maybe, not sure... Textures are a bit too intense. Get a concrete texture, and change the color balance so it will look more realistic.... But don't worry, the fact that you figured out extrude is great, looks like you are on your way. 10 since it is your first. :-)

I'm not downloading it yet, but stick this on top of a building, and it would make a great novelty billboard. BTW: My first (and last) BAT was a cube. Great job.

Whoa, this is an interesting lot. Maybe I should put it where car crashes happen. To nite lite things in GMAX, you create a light, then rename it niteliteNAME, where NAME is the name of the light.

Well, it's great that you've figured out how to model and export stuff correctly, I'd work on your next one a little more though. Don't think your age holds you back, I mean most 14YO's know more about computers than your average 30YO. With practice, you'll improve quickly, but don't make a habit of uploading 10min works or something you

Nice work, not to my taste but its still really good for your first BAT. Still it seems that almost everyone here is older than me. *sniff* i'm only 12

Pretty good job with this! It's small and simple, but you did a pretty good job with details, making it look good and not just having a whole lot of garish colors. Though I do like the garish colors too. :P
