About This File

The Tramway Building is a unique gem from Halifax’s Barrington Street. Built in 1916 to house the Nova Scotia Tramways and Power Company, the operators of Halifax’s now defunct streetcar network, the structure is one of city’s only modern neo-gothic buildings. The use of concrete as the building’s main material was, in 1916, well ahead of its time. Today the Tramway Building’s upper floors provide office space to an animation company, while the ground floor is home to Frozen Ocean (clothes) and Venus Envy (bookstore/sex shop). The building is a definite local landmark and is generally known as the building with the faces (blown up pictures of peoples faces fill most of the windows on the second floor). Included in this upload are three lots, a 1x2 growable and plopable and a 1x3 growable. All lots provide 107 Co$$ and have been done to conform with the style I have used previously and JBSimio’s small town set. Two dependencies, BSC Essentials and BSC MJB Mega Props Vol 1. See the readme for complete details.

very beautiful art deco style. It makes for a great small commercial or civic office building's. It reminds me of one of the building's in the old converted warehouse district that has a dentist office, a few privare offices and at the ground floor a fancey clothing store with some sort of popular grill that I've never heard of but is really good.

Amazing detail on the nightlights! It's like you've modeled the inside of the building too! Thanks for another great building for our collective downtowns, spa. 10/10

spa, the number of your BATs in my plugins folder is already quite considerable, but with each new release there is an almost 100% chance it will grow even further. Now it's this time again...

Thanks everyone. Banger, it does need a current BSC essentials. You can find it on SC4Devotion. I don't know BSC essentials you have, but if it's an outdated version, when you click on the Tramway Building the query window won't appear.

Such a modern building for when it was made. Even by today's standards, this would be progressive compared to all of the faux historic buildings (that are ironically referencing the same time period this building was made) that are made today.

Olegario39: Sorry you're having some difficulties. I assure you thought this one was modded correctly. It was made with the X tool which assigns stats in a balanced way. It's only Co$$ so it really shouldn't be repetitive. Unfortunately, what is a plague for some barely shows for others.
