BSC Menu Management Lot Mod  1.0

About This File

Who isn't tired of scrolling through endless menus, filled with lots of great stuff? The modders have tried many things to create submenus or entire new menus, but without much success. But now, the BSC has discovered a method to shrink entire lot collections to a single icon, and make the rest available when they are needed. Just plop the construction lot, wait a few game days, and the rest of the icons become available. Once you bulldoze the construction lot, the icons will be hidden when you start your city again.

Drawbacks

Unfortunately, the technique also has some drawbacks, which are caused by the method that is used for the menu icon feature. Like with the in-game rewards, it takes some game days until the icons show up (usually a few days or up to a game month). You also have to click on the menu again after plopping each lot, since it gets out of focus, so you can't plop a large number of lots by clicking several times in a row. As already mentioned, for hiding the icons again, you will have to exit and re-enter the city, and due to the usage of a reward script, it's necessary to add a "landmark" occupant group to the construction lots, so they will also show up at the end of the landmark menu (only the construction lots, not the other ones!).

This looks so awesome. Thanks for all your work. Menu scrolling (esp Park and landmark menus) takes forever and hopefully this will ease it some.

I can see this is a major step towards menu organisation, something I will love because currently, it takes about one minute of vigerous wheel rolling to get from the top to the bottom of my parks menu! A huge 10/10 for you. Can't wait for the tutorial.

Wow. I remember this idea being discussed way back on the BSC board. Nice to finally see the idea come to fruition.

In a situation like this I regret most of the 10/10 I have given. This Mod seems way out of scale!!!! T H X !

Wow. Brilliant Idea! though..is it possible to do this in Reverse? as in, is it possible to plop a lot and have it hide the maxis stuff?

@Rymac91: That should be possible, although I don't really see the point in doing this. @Sc4mayor_Gabz08: If you look closer at the mod description, you'll find out that quite a few mods for PEG's lots have been included.
