The Navy is back and asking to expand their naval facilities to include a new base for their submarines. Due to your excellent leadership and direction, the Navy feels your city is the ideal location to expand their operations.
These modern submarines play a crucial role in the nation's defense and deterrent forces. Giving a new meaning to the old phrase, "Silent But Deadly...", these modern marvels are virtually undetectable as they patrol the world's oceans and project your nations power & influence.
The Submarine Base is the 4th in the the Navy Base chain of conditional rewards with each subsequent base requiring just a bit more of your mayoral skills. It has features and properties similar to the first 3 Naval bases but is notably larger at 12x5 tiles in size. It is transit enabled with two entrances/gates... and vehicle automata will travel through the lot via these gates. Like at port facilities, the base is a moderate polluter. But it provides jobs to civilian workers as well as income to the city each month. It's designed to be compatible with the CDK but can be used separately.
Using the CDKN modular building methodology that is utilized by all new naval facilities, this fourth Navy Pier brings the base to life with new buildings and dockside props and personnel that shuffle & change throughout the day. The two styles of submarines will also shuffle and change berths as the deploy & return throughout the year.
Each subsequent base will require a little more mayoral effort and city development before becoming available. This base requires a city population of over 40,000, a mayor rating of 47+, Seaport usage over 80, a city that is at least 20% water (still notably less than the requirement for the Marina)... or completion of the good Fishing Boat Mission. The lot's dynamic icon info lists these requirements as well as the current levels of each requirement so you can see how close you are getting.

As part of the Project ZIP efforts the *.exe installer has been removed from this upload. To install, simply copy/extract the PEGPROD parent folder into your plugins.
