It appears to have issues with XP...I'm getting a JET4 error.

To 6033252485 Open Landscape Designer and click the HELP button. View SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS to download Jet 4.0 from Microsoft.

cant get it to work, comes up w/ an error message saying: Screen resolution must be 1028x768. Terminating program

siminator, While the screen res must be set to a min of 1024 x 768, it is also important the display DPI setting is at the Normal (96 DPI) setting. From the Control Panel, click the Display icon. Select the Settings tab and the Advance button. Change the DPI setting back to Normal size (96 DPI).

Description? - This is a terrain generator independent of the sim city 4 terraforming god mode/tool? Right? Wrong?

This is perhaps one of the "must have"s out of the STEX, wonderful job on this!! If only it made rivers and streams though!

good program, just a bit bothered by the results it produces over large regions. The "mountains" are like ... little hills. The "255" height (or 'white') is nowhere NEAR how high mountains can go in SC4 ... so i wonder how i can get bigger mountains over a large area. Hmmm ... if anyone can help me here, send me a private message ... please!! =)

doesn't work. Sells my resolution is too low, and when my resolution is higher then its minimum amount

LOVE THIS! The only problem I have with it is the fact that you can't edit a region very well after it's been generated. Also, the regions all seem to look the same (you can't really get rivers, Oceans, and it's hard to get big lumps of land instead of the smaller peninsulas and islands.

Even years later this is as useful today as it was when it was created. Still a great random terrain generator and creates Config.bmp files that work.
