These famous trains from Chicago are finally in SC4!
Thanks to my modding efforts, the Budd-produced 2600 and 3200-series cars can cruise around your elevated lines.
Included in this modd are two versions of the modd. One replacesthe current elevated train with the modern, 3200-series cars. These are the cars that are made out of aluminum, and have shiny,fluted sides. For these cars, install CTA_ElTrainsModd_Fluted.dat.
The second version contains the slightly older, "Spirit of Chicago"2600-series cars. These have a distinctive red, white, and bluecolor scheme, and are the same size as the 3200 cars. For these,install CTA_ElTrainsModd.dat.
You cannot use both types at once.
Each file is 269kb.
One more thing: don't be afraid to run it at zoom 6. You might see something special...
