About This File

The tallest building in New York State outside of Manhattan, the Erastus Corning Tower is a  42-story, 180m (589 ft) office tower; the centerpiece of the Empire State Plaza.  Built in 1973, the glass-and-concrete modernist structure dominates the relatively low-rise Albany skyline.

Included are both RCI Ploppable (CO$$) and Landmark versions of this building.  The RCI Ploppable version hosts 3000 jobs.  Both lots measure 3x6 tiles.  Landmark effects are similar to those of other Maxis landmarks.

I have left the lot essentially barren because this is intended as an intermediate component of a future greater Empire State Plaza lot.  Besides, there isn't a much of anything directly surrounding this building in real life anyways.

Thanks to sblanc1087 and vanschnookenraggen for providing pictures and useful input towards the re-creation of this tower.

Just a reminder, I'm seeing alot of comments about the barren lot - As I stated before (and in the Readme), I feel that alot of work on the lot would be a waste of time considering this really isn't a finished product (the final will be anything but barren!)

Also, given the size of the LOD shells, there really isn't room for props to properly display, without increasing the size of the lot itself.

I have the same question as blackbeard (I'm 20 minutes away too) and also, in your proposed plaza, will the highway stuff run under it like in real life?

Awesome, I CAN'T wait for the rest of the plaza to come out. I was wondering about dependencies or something because when I put it in the game it's just a blank gray lot, no building.:( I also don't know if you're good at maps or anything but someone should make an Albany map!

mayorgerken - There aren't any dependencies - make sure you've installed the ECT.dat file to your plugins folder.
