Another police shooting. Fortunately, this one didn't escalate and result in the loss of more lives, but my thoughts and prayers go out to the afflicted officers and their families. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/07/29/1-san-diego-cop-killed-another-wounded-in-shooting.html I'm not sure if there was a designated motive, but it still pisses me off just as much to see this happen again. The tension between police and people is rising too quickly, and frankly, I'm waiting for something to push the tension up to its boiling point. It's bound to happen, whether it be another significant case of police brutality or another significant police shooting. This tension also contributes an ever sharpening racial divide, which will have immense consequences of its own.

San Bernadino shooting, at least 14 people dead, 20 people wounded

A shooting tool place in San Bernadino, CA, today. According to reports there are 1-3 suspects supposedly starting to spray around at the Inalnd Regional Center in San Bernadino, CA, a facitily for people with developmental disabilities. An employee texted her father that people were shot. Additionally, a bomb squad found a suspicious package at the facility. It's not known if the number of victims is correct and, if so, whether it's the actual number of deaths or including injured people. -
At least 129 people are dead and 352 injured following multiple explosions and shootings in central Paris. President Francois Hollande is said to have been evacuated from the Stade de France where the French football team are playing Germany. http://www.cnn.com/2015/11/06/us/chicago-tyshawn-lee-shooting/index.html Chicago has a high rate of violence in certain areas(at least, that's what the news implies), but this.....while no homicide is justified, this one is utterly particular and disgusting. Knowing how those types of areas are, the police will have a hard time finding someone who's willing to talk. In addition, there's probably going to be some sort of retaliation. Which means another life could be lost. It's sad because the cycle of violence doesn't stop. It continues.

Cop charged with second degree murder. Several videos of this incident went viral on the net. Cop fired nine rounds (his whole magazine?) at the kid with a knife, isolated in a streetcar. This incident has the Toronto police doing all their sums again. I wonder if others will take note.
