This time you get some luxury apartments of the late 1930s. Built in 1937 in a young quarter not far from the ciy centre, they represent some of the best of the era. The architect's name is Eugene Rosenberg. They have electric heating, elevator, wooden shades to protect the rooms from sunlight and expensive materials used in the interior. Enjoy and let me know if you would like to live in such apartments. Standa TECH STUFF Unpack the files into your Plugins folder IMPORTANT NOTE: Check the SimPrague_readme.txt to learn more about the project! IMPORTANT NOTE: SimPrague project uses a consistent 133% scale! Sorry if it doesn't fit your city. NOTE: Sidewalk in preview is not yet available online, you will see your own sidewalk texture. There are two models with slight variations in texture shades and with unique nightlighting. I've used them to create two 3x3 and two 3x4 high-wealth residential lots, which will grow in high-density zones and in Euro tileset. You can also plop them as college called Antoninska School of Design, it occupies a 3x4 lot. The stats are as usual. There is also a 3x3 ploppable lot, which can be found in the Landmark menu and functions as CO$$$ with 180 jobs. Each of the two ploppables uses one of the two variants, so you can see them both prior to letting them grow. There is only one night version, but I've tested it and it looks fine with and without SimFox Day'n'Nite Mod. DEPENDENCIES NOTE for beginners: Dependencies are props and other files that are useful and generally accessible online, so you don't want to include them again in any new upload. It can be annoying the first few times you spend half an hour downloading them, but as they are so widely used by all other BATters as well, you will soon find yourself having most of them or being able to skip some. I've included one prop called GR_GarageBlock.dat, created by GaryReggae and often used by T Wrecks. The reason is I couldn't locate the file online anymore. Search your Plugins folder and if you have it already, delete the folder "Prop_delete_if_redundant". I present to you the three houses of the Teachers' Housing Association finished in 1921 according to a project of well-known early modernist architect Otakar Novotný. Their facades are designed in late cubist style. A whole quarter in the Old Town was demolished at the end of the 19th century to make place for modern development, these houses are one of the last built in the area. They are full of comfortable medium wealth appartments and let's hope they will remain residential forever, but in case you wanted to plop the houses in game I assumed they underwent an adaptation and there are offices of the Baltic America Line Company, which originally operated in the ground floor commercial space in real life. Enjoy and contact me with any suggestions or criticism. Standa TECH STUFF Unpack the files into your Plugins folder IMPORTANT NOTE: Check the SimPrague_readme.txt to learn some important notes about the project! IMPORTANT NOTE: SimPrague project uses a consistent 133% scale! Sorry if it doesn't fit your city. NOTE: Sidewalk in preview is not yet available online, you will see your own sidewalk texture. To enhance variability I made mirrored versions, so a bit unhistorically you can create a whole block of 12 of these houses (4 different lots) or any combination. There are 4 models with slight variations in texture shades and with unique nightlighting. Each one of them is placed on a corresponding R$$ high density lot, two lots are 2x5 (left and right corner), two lots are 5x2 (left and right corner). They will grow in the Euro Tileset. There is also 1 ploppable lot, which can be found in the Landmark menu and functions as a landmark and offers 320 CO$$ jobs. I've made it 4x5 so you can see a plaza in front of the building. There is only one night version, but I've tested it and it looks fine with and without SimFox Day'n'Nite Mod. Imagine living in a wet, crowdy, ugly underground flat next to a factory. What do you need? A tiny rowhouse. Luckilly, around 1920 the city council of Prague decided to help some of its low income residents, bought cheap lots in the fresh air (okay, it's between cemetery and cabbage fields) and subsidized building these rowhouses and semi-detached houses. You can be one of their inhabitants and watch the city grow around you. Your dreams about elegant architecture might come true one day in the future... This pack contains 21 growable R $ lots (2x3, 3x2 and 1x2), one elementary school and one kindergarten. There are colour variants: brick walls, light plaster walls and red plaster walls. Choose only some or use them all. Enjoy and please let me know how it works for you! Project Prague - European historical city by AJR
art just right posted a topic in Cities: Skylines City Journals
PAUSED DUE TO WORKING ON OWN TROPICAL REGION Hello everbody, Project started: 08.04.2017 Project ended: (estimate: 1 year) Mod list: in progress Asset list: in progress //Dont have experience with video making, dont have any program yet. Also my style is different to others. Once I finish some part, sometimes I destroy whole area and start with better sense. If anyone can help me with some newbie tricks to video making, I much appreciate!!// Few days ago, after I reached 1600 played hrs in this game I decided make something, whats close to me (i think its bad sentence, still best what i can do :X). I was thinking how decrease workshop items, especially buildings. I wanted massively use vanilla european buildings, so there wasnt much to think about. Plan: (every Sunday I am updating stuff) My plan isnt build Prague in 1:1. Anyway it is impossible yet. But I want build some well-known places at its own positions to create similar shape of city. In final phase I want have over 250k people at maximum! I am big detailer, so building blocks/districts take much time for me (I am too thinking about every prop I place) Currently stage: Placing rails First step: is create river Vltava. Shipping canal Podbaba (you can see on screen below) Change terrain heights to right ones, build around coasts. Create rail system (its is huge, huge system which I am looking forward!) Find the way how to build Prague Castle. Prague - few interesting facts: Prague Castle is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest castle in the world (70 000 m² is equivalent to 17,297 acre or 0,027 mile²) Charles Square is one of the largest squares in the world and was the largest town square of the medieval Europe. It used to be called "The Big Marketplace" (Tržiště velké) or „Cattle Market" (Dobytčí trh) The most famous square is certainly the Wenceslas Square, formerly known as Horse Market (Koňský trh). It was renamed Saint Wenceslas square (Svatováclavské náměstí) in 1848 on the proposal of Karel Havlíček Borovský. The Prague pneumatic post is the world's last preserved municipal pneumatic post system It is an underground system of metal tubes under the wider centre of Prague, totaling about 55 kilometres in length. It crosses the river Vltava three times. You can visit the Astronomical Clock not only in Prague but even thousand miles away - in Seoul. The replica was built in a popular district Hongda and works as a restaurant and exhibition centre. Prague Subway (metro) comprises three lines, serving 57 stations, and consists of a transit network 59,3 km (= 35.7 mi.) long. The shortest distance is between Hlavní nádraží (Main Train Station) and Muzeum (425 m = 0,26 mi.), the longest distance is between Nádraží Holešovice (Holešovice Train Station) and Kobylisy (2748 m = 1708 mi.) Vršovice is a less well-known district of Prague but in the last century there was one of the world largest amusement park - the Eden Pleasure Gardens with roller coaster, helter-skelter or just boating. Now Tesco and the Slavia football stadium stand here. (Slavia Praha is my most favourite football team) And finally some first tastings:- 17 Replies

From the album City Showcase (S3-23-M)
Few cities in Europe are as magical and enchanting as Prague, especially in the fall. Horse-drawn carriages make their way through narrow streets filled with beautiful historic architecture, and the Old Town's square is filled with the hustle and bustle of the annual fall farmer's market. This picture required heavy custom content creation. I created an entire texture set for this picture, matching every last detail of Prague's historic old town, in addition to importing plenty of historic Prague buildings into the game. Virtually every building and prop in this picture mirrors the real life version as well - countless pictures were analyzed to ensure the highest level of realism possible in SC4. Full-size resolution version is posted in the comments below. -

Copy the files into your Plugins folder. You may use subfolders to organize. The building comes as an eye-candy LM lot, 3x6, plop cost is only $ 4096 (the rest will be paid by wealthy donators). NO DEPENDENCIES! This catholic church of St. Wenceslas (Václav) was built in a rapidly developing quarter of Prague - Vršovice in 1930, to commemorate thousand years since the martyrdom of the Saint patron of Bohemia. It was designed by one of our greatest modernist architects Josef Gočár. He made it simple, elegant and effectively used the slope for gradating the building's mass and lighting the interior through several skylights. The inscription in Czech could be translated as: "Saint Wenceslas, don't let us perish, nor the coming" I tried to be accurate, anyway I made some alterations due to SimCity's hostility towards buildings in slope. The stairs and terraces leading to rear entrances are purely my imagination. The colour of the facade is darker than nowadays, it should be more similar to the original one. I use the 4/3 scale (plus 4/3 to the height). It looks best with the european w2w environment and I'll be using it for all my future BATs. This is my very first BAT, ver. 1.0. I might add Night lighting and some higher-quality lotting later (you can help if you know how to), check Simtropolis.com for updates. I'll be glad for any tips... and of course pictures of your own use of this church! P.S.: Thanks to all who inspired me to start BATting, namely JasonCW, Motokloss, Ferox, Mattb325, T Wrecks, the SFBT team and many others! I love your work. Standa K.
