I recently noticed that police jail capacities in the game are NOT the same as displayed by PIM-X. I have no idea what's going on here. The only other thing I have involving police is the Crime and Police Station Fixes for ModPacc Zero. Here's an example. Mattb325's Modern Police Station reports it can hold 75 inmates. The hexadecimal amount is 4B, aka 75 cells: But in the game, it only shows up with 60 cells. I got an extra inmate and the advisors warned me of a possible riot: I checked a bunch of other police lots and none of the values in PIMX correspond to what is the maximum amount in the game. Does anyone know what's going on here?

Included in this download are four Police Stations and a County Jail. All police stations have the same center effect as the original ones, but a modestly upgraded exterior effect to simulate overlap. All have an increased prisoner capacity, so you shouldn't need to put more than one per map or any jails. Rather just one jail somewhere in your region for eye candy, more or less. You can just pretend that the prisoners in each station are actually in the county jail, while each city tile pays their share. All use the Maxis buildings since I never disliked the buildings, except the jail, only the lots they sat on. *The Small Police Station has an effect radius of 1024 m. This is intended for your small maps. It provides 50 jobs (40§ and 10§§). It has 4 available dispatch cars and sits on a 4x4 lot. Monthly cost is §250. *The Medium Police Station has an effect radius of 2048 m. This is intended for your medium maps. It provides 100 jobs (80§ and 20§§). It has 8 available dispatch cars and sits on a 4x6 lot. Monthly cost is §1,000. *The Large Police Station has an effect radius of 4096 m. This is intended for your large, low to medium density maps. It provides 200 jobs (160§ and 40§§). It has 16 available dispatch cars and sits on a 6x6 lot. Monthly cost is §4,000. *The Deluxe Police Station also has an effect radius of 4096 m. This is intended for your large, high density maps. It provides 250 jobs (200§ and 50§§). It has 24 available dispatch cars and a functional helicopter. It has an underground parking entrance to minimize the footprint, and sits on a 4x4 lot. Monthly cost is §4,800. * The County Jail uses the Federal Prison reward building and sits on a 4x7 lot. It costs only §100 monthly. These costs reflect how much it would cost to (almost) cover your maps with the in game stations, but using just one instead of several. All (except the Jail) use seasonal HD tree props, and some default medium wealth base textures, which will blend in with your sidewalks and even be effected by the SCILT mod if you use custom sidewalks. All have custom icons. *NOTE- These lots do not replace the default stations. Also, unlike schools or hospitals, it is not advised to cut funding to these or any fire or police stations as that would have a highly negative effect. I'll refer you to the strategy guide for more information. Also note that the trees will not show up on the lots until the first season change. Complete Rural Set ! *** Mystery solved *** The complete rural set conscists of 11 rural properties to fit in a rurla enviroment. On my mayon instalation they appear normal. On my new system instalation they appear without buildings. Assumed this has something to do with my maxis blocking this doesn´t make a differende. Here the set ! Great set by GSHMails ! Mayon region view of some of the parts ! Same set on my new system ! What a difference ! Readme states to copy these files into the plugin directory. Busstop1 - NYC Stop Busstop2 - Modern stop Busstop3 - Rural Copy all three of each stop to use in the game. These files seem to be in this set but still no result ! Touching in the dark ! Hope anyone have some idea what´s missing, any suggestions are very welcom ! Last night I opted there would be somekind of prop pack of the maker himself available. Some kind of rural props where there but no means 1 Today I opted to do it all over again and suceeded ! Somehow some props don´t display directly if not reploped as with this set Mushymushy congratulations on your pointing out for the buildingprops 1 and 2 ! So, there doesn't seem to be a thread for this in the past 6 pages. Here we have from low to moderately high security. (Those Ranger Stations are Guard Towers.) Depending on the individual's criminal record they are put to work in the dirty sanitation department, on the farms, in heavy industrial, or (for the elite crooks) in the commercial offices. Recently there have been suggestions for adding an educational curriculum (and the associated buildings) for the unschooled inmates. The city council feels it would not be cost effective. Oddly enough, most of the council members just happen to own the various businesses in town where the prisoners are put to work. (Not that that should be a conflict of interest. Right?) Imagine Shawshank Rredemption style.

There are two different mods: Regular and Cheater. Regular just makes Alcatraz a jail with 100,000 inmates. Cheater contains: - No bulldoze cost - No plop cost - No monthly cost - No pollution or garbage - No power or water consumption - Same inmate capacity as regular - landmark effect CHOOSE ONLY ONE FILE. Both are still in Landmarks section. Enjoy -

After weeks of planning and days of lotting, I can finally present you with the Maximum Security Prison! When I first played SimCity 4, the jail really bothered me. It was too small, and there were no walls or fences to keep the prisoners in! So I decided it would be of benefit to see some more added realism to the game by improving this. These are the main changes made: - - I have merged 4 city jails together to form one large building. - At the front, there are two security gates and checkpoints with metal fences. - The walls and surveillance towers fit around the outside. - The car park at the front uses improved car park textures. (By sc4jeeks) - Made a small plant area at the front to screen the prison from a road. - Added guard dogs near the walls - Added a helipad on the roof - Made an outdoor recreational area, where prisoners can take a break and play basketball, and collect food from the vegetable patch! - On the left side, I have made a road where delivery trucks can bring food etc. - Made an area where prisoners do hard labour by bashing rocks. - Transit enabled the first tile on both streets. - Revised costs and capacity. I hope you enjoy using it in your cities. Just a note before you ask, The MSP does not replace the default City Jail. Before you worry - no more jails in my pipeline after this ;-) Got more criminals than your city likes? Ship 'em out to a rural jail compound where they can be productive helping out on the neighbouring farms. The 'Rural Jail Compound' will fit well into your rural settings. It's more expensive to plop (higher capacity) but lower on monthly cost than the urban jail, since the inmates plant veggies for their own support. Lot size: 6x6 Capacity: 3000 Plop Cost: 5000 Bulldoze Cost: 500 Monthly cost: 500 Power, Water and Pollution are higher than standard. If you go by the standard, prisons are to be tucked away somewhere at the outer corners of your map, forgotten and never to be looked at again. Where I live, prisons are right smack inside the city, nimby or not ... And biz around them thrives, bars, shops, eateries and more, catering to the endless stream of visiting relatives, lawyers or jailbirds on leave. So here is my urban jail for low wealth neighbourhoods or the fringes of an industrial complex, with higher capacity (which of course means higher costs as well). Lot size: 6x4 Capacity: 2000 Plop Cost: 3500 Bulldoze Cost: 350 Monthly cost: 600 Power, Water, Pollution and Demand are slightly higher than standard Dependencies (same as for the 'Security Fence Set'): PEG MTP Super Pack Only the PEG_MTP_SUPER_TEXTURES_PACK.dat is required.
