WILLOUGHBY TOWER, at 8 S. Michigan avenue, on the southwest corner of E. Madison street, built in 1929, is 36 stories high, on caissons. Samuel N. Crowen was the architect. The eight-story Willoughby building (Western Bank Note building) previously occupied this corner. The newest design for the Willoughby Tower, by S. V. Croweon, architect, to be erected at the southwest corner of Madison and Boul Mich was announced on February 4, 1928. It is almost changed from the first design shown in The Tribune of Sunday, Sept. 18, 1927. Instead of being black, it’ll be of variegated Indiana limestone on the two stret elevations, with the first two floors of granite. The tower will le flood lighted. Work started May 1, 1928. I've recently started modelling for Cities Skylines and, as it's the first time I have to deal with low poly models, normal maps, specular maps, colour maps, etc. I've decided to create a new topic to show the assets and try to get some advice in order to improve my models. I haven't uploaded anything yet, because I'm not sure if I've got a good balance between tris and texture. My models are CS versions of models I previously made for SC4 and they are relatively small. They're inspired by small residential buildings of Spain and other Spanish speaking countries built before WWI. I've done one and a half building so far. Both are very similar, so I can't say they're two different buildings. The first model fits into a 1x4 lot, the other into a 1x3 lot. Buildings at sunrise: 1x4 Building: 451 triangles, Texture 1024x512 1x3 Building (the one without backyard): 294 triangles, Texture 1024x512 I hope you like them. Any help or advice will be welcomed!

It here- the SCF Lazy- Modeled after the SS Californian- aka the ship that slept as Titanic sank, the Lazy is a frieghter of the early 1900's. Californian was built in 1902 and so the model is from around that time. This 12 by 2 lot is a perfect edition to your sea ports- Thanks to team members frex_cefus for the lotting and our newest member bipin for night lighting and render. -
Hello everyone! I am at the start of building an old-looking region, set in the early 1900's. One problem i'm having is that I can't find any old-looking cars to fit with that! Where can I find a mod, or at least some good models that match my wish? Thanks, Guy. P.S. This region will evantually end up in a CJ, showing natural development in that era - So I could really use help to improve the looks of it...
