  1. Wha? How about the one-way street mod? There is a truckload of work behind that mod. What lack of mod activity are you referring too?
  2. Something like this? Draw HD street Draw freeway above Draw short section of elevated ramp from freeway Draw transition ramp from short section to road. Tada!
  3. Hmm... You downloaded it off the net? So did you download it from origin or is it some pirated copy?
  4. I've been a tester of this little gem, and I can say it is phenomenal!    Watch those roundabouts tho, there seems to be an odd bug where agents get eaten. So don't place service buildings like police, clinic, or fire right next to one.
  5. Try deleting the tunnel first, before deleting the roads leading to it.
  6. Jeff, he was talking about oil/coal/etc not power and water @.@
  7. Hmm, is there an english language version of the property definitions?
  8. To help with some of the unknown cheats enabled by the DLL I have been provided details on some of the unknowns. Below you will find the new descriptions, check the STEX for the full descriptions. Barstuck - Once invoked, all of your small commercial services (low-density 1x3 lots) start turning into coffee bars, and then they stay that way forever. WatchMeMove - Enables animation stepping. After it is enabled, control-shift-alt-F11 and control-shift-alt-P implement animation stepping and pausing, respectively. GP <on | off> - Enables or disables game pause when you switch to another application. This is useful for if you go away from the game and you want it to sleep while it is in the background. Flora (on | off) | (preserve on | off) | (propogation on | off) | (blast <splat_count> <per_splat_count> <splat radius>) Controls flora simulation parameters. By default, during city play flora simulation is on, preservation is off, and propogation is off. Preservation refers to the keeping of trees on land when the land is developed. Propogation refers to the spreading of seeds and automatic creation of new flora life in the city. Example(s) Flora on Flora preserve off Flora propogation on Flora blast 5 8 60 (Yes, propagation is spelled wrong, I didn't program the thing.)
  9. Okay, I was mistaken. Without the mod the game doesn't crash when bulldozing the tunnel but doesn't allow you to do so at all. This mod allows players to bulldoze the tunnel. Works for offline and online games. Enjoy!
  10. Version 1.0

This simple mod fixes bull-dozing streetcar avenue tunnels. It is good for use in online AND offline use. I tested the results and the tunnel can be bulldozed. Extract the file in the ZIP to your SimCityData directory. Enjoy!
  11. Maxis had a team of about 6 programmers work almost 9 months on extending map sizes and the absolute best result ran at about 2 FPS on their most insane rig. So, sure, map sizes are tweakable, but have fun playing the game at 2 FPS.
  12. Super Demand Ordinance

No story with this mod. This is the first Radical mod I've done for mainstream release. Please do not use this mod if you want your city to grow and develop as the original game would allow. This mod is designed to do one thing, and that's to allow your city to grow at an exponential rate. Modified all Comercial Service, Commercial Office and Industrial zone demand to skyrocket to 500% of what it was. Small income of
  13. High Tech Industry without Uni?

Having educated sims has many other benefits. So getting rid of your colleges isn't a good idea. Lower crime, lower injury rate, higher rate of recycling are just a few of the benefits to having high educated sims.
  14. I guess the cat's out of the bag. Glad I can finally talk about it now though. Was supposed to hit dev test today, but I think the Lizard had an objection and stomped around causing a mess. Hopefully soon.
  15. MOD REQUEST - One way roads?

Doing this would require modifying Glassbox itself, which is beyond the ability of modders. I have a feeling that being such a highly requested feature Maxis is looking into adding this option. Though what form it will take I do not know, patch or DLC, depends on their greed at this point.
  16. what you're talking about is real-time manipulation of a city and would have to be done in-app rather than data-side via mods. It would also need to be integrated into the engine in a way that more or less excludes it from any modders ability. These features would have to have access to all current road segments or lot ID's. What we have access to are properties and settings that the internal scripts use but not how those scripts behave as they are compiled in whatever languages GlassBox uses.
  17. Proc's, your bday is today too!??! What are the odds!
  18. Man, why does someone think a donate link is enough to take down the sweet work you've done? Crazy.
  19. For res, it was 36 points from d1 to d2.
  20. Oh, yeah, and in playing a map in DevTest just now I had a nuke plant go boom out of the blue. No reason, safe worker levels and everything. Just randomly decided to explode. I have a screenshot, but am too depressed to post it. It was the one flat map in...er.. wait I can't say anything about that.
  21. The first mods we released for SC4 were _extreme_ mods. And they are still very popular today. I remember when I released my set of ordinance mods that one would consider extreme the reaction was positive, heck I STILL get messages regarding that mod after 10 years! People want to play the game their way, you can pick and choose which mods you play to play it your way. That is the heart of the franchise. If I want to play a city where the super high tech industry doesn't pollute like a smelter, that is my choice. I do this because these high tech factories shouldn't be polluting so much IMHO so the mod basically sets this right. Felgard's road mod is SUPERB at ensuring service vehicles move around the city in a decent fashion. And proc's mods are a godsend when it comes to breaking out of the box and overcoming stupid module limits. If I want a computer manufacturer to have 10 modules then so be it, I still have to PAY for those.
  22. SWEETNESS You get 5 rabbits! :bunny: And a duck
  23. The too far from main building thing IS annoying. Off the top of my head, the most frustrating buildings that do this are the processor manu. and the electronics manu. Casinos would also benefit from removing this restriction. Otherwise I would follow with smelter, oil refinery, and power plants.
  24. I LOL at some of these requests. I'm waiting for the request for a mod that puts you in a first person perspective on the street and allows you to steal cars and drive around.
