  1. This is realy awsome! .......but, any dependencies??? Thank You.
  2. downloadable cities?

Thus far, the game works fine on Windows 7. The ONLY real problem I've had is this one with downloading from Cityscape. Other than that, it's much less troublesome than I had anticipated. Thanks for your help, though. And good luck with that.
  3. downloadable cities?

Ya.... thanks, but I think I'll pass on that one. As soon as the page began to load, my antivirus software went berserk! thanks for the help anyway.
  4. downloadable cities?

I actually have Windows 7. um..... I guess I better get my game moved or just re-installed in the right folder then-- Program Files (x86)??? I wonder if that's my whole problem then. oops. I guess this is my crash course in 64bit operating systems (pardon the pun).
  5. downloadable cities?

If you can't access the "Program Files" folder, try installing the game outside of the Program Files folder. Vista, and Windows 7 don't like outside programs editing inside those folders. Actually, I can access the "program files" folder and all the other SC4 file chain, it's just that the "Documents/SimCity4/Regions/downloads" folder is empty-- after I just got done downloading city files to that specific folder (so it says). For some reason I have a "Program Files" folder AND a "Program Files (x86)" folder on this machine. I don't know why or whats the difference, but the default instalation path always wants to send stuff to the "Program Files (x86)" folder. I thought for ease of installing plugins, etc. I should install the game [sC4Deluxe] in the regular "Program Files" folder. Again, not sure why I have the two different Program files folders and don't know why that would matter for purposes of downloading from the EA site??? Should I be using the (x86) folder for everything? And why would it matter? Sorry if this is just elementary, but I'm not that knowledgable about this stuff yet and on my old computer everything just downloaded and installed as it was supposed to without me having to think about anything. Thanks oh ya, I should also add that this is only pertaining to downloading cities from the "Cityscape" area and not from the "Cool Stuff" area where you can get the optional region and/or city.
  6. downloadable cities?

OK, thanks, SC4Boy. I almost suspect something is wrong with my computer because the site says the cities are downloaded to the right directory, but with Windows7, I'm not sure what's going on anymore. thanks.
  7. Bridge Height mod

Hey, this is one of the most important and realistic mods for this game! Thank You!
  8. High Capacity Passenger Rail

Nice that you raised the capacity but the power consumption is totally unrealistic. It takes as much power as a small town!
  9. downloadable cities?

oh well, thanks for the help anyway, guys. Does anyone know if there is something wrong with the simcity.ea.com site, that I can't get a city to download correctly? The site will say it's downloading the city I want, and even shows the correct file path (c:users/clayton/documents/simcity4/regions/downloads), but when I check that file, it's empty. Has anyone else downloaded a city succesfully from there lately?
  10. Can anyone tell me if there is a place or another site [besides the official Maxis site] that you can download whole cities to play? I've not been able to download cities from Cityscape with my new laptop and was wondering if there is any other site out there that has "city sharing" or something like this???
  11. high tech IH missing $$$ jobs fix (update!)

  12. high tech IH missing $$$ jobs fix (update!)

Nice work. But I use the "jobs doubler_v2" by Bones1. Can you tell me if it is compatible with that mod???
  13. These look awsome. Only thing is your missing an oil tanker of the same scale. Thanks
