  1. We're simpatico, you and I.
  2. There is little for me to say that is a worthy response to what you've delivered here today, Ura, however... 1: This is beautiful and love of the art in its purest form. 2: I hope you succeed in driving the orcs from your lands, my friend.

Only three groups of people need fear the public reveal of their numbers. 1: The "Nice" number person. Oh who are we kidding, a bunch of people did it because memes. Those darn memes. (If you aren't aware of what the "Nice" number is, don't attempt to satisfy your curiosity, Unfortunately this warning will compel at least one soon-to-be regretted Google search. C'est la vie...) 2: The "1337" person, being as they're referencing something from the early aughts and no one wants to be outed as old. 3: The "314" person, for obvious reasons. Edit: In a fit of irony, the Google search joke link unintentionally tapped into Reddit's depraved sense of humor involving cats and loaves. A new, hopefully less sigh inducing joke link has been inserted.

Like the '72 Dolphins, CorinaMarie is the only one who will ever taste perfection.
  5. Submenus DLL

Such has proven to be the case, Jidan. Thank you for explaining.
  6. Submenus DLL

A question directed towards whoever knows the answer: Is the ResourceLoadingHooks dll required for submenu functionality/plugin stability, or can it be ignored if runtime alteration of plugins is not a desired feature?
  7. In fact, I am certain this is the second I've done so. As it has become clear I don't listen very well, I humbly request an immediate and all encompassing ban from the SimCity community. Not just here, no, that'd be too merciful, but everywhere in every time, erased entirely from simulated city existence. Thanos snapped with a single click of a button. It'll be hard for the moderation team to put me down, I admit, similar to shooting a puppy out a potato gun. But it must be done. Downloading forbidden files is like eating the forbidden Dorito. Ya'll just don't do that. *Puts on blindfold. Salutes.* I'm ready for my close-up.
  8. SC4 PIM-X LE Controls

On pages 64 and 65 of the manual contained within the download here, there is a list of the keyboard shortcuts the program uses. For convenience, I will copy paste the list presently. Do not use capital letters! h : pan mode – for moving the lot in each window p : prop mode v : overlay mode b : building mode f : flora mode t : texture mode n : cycle family – only on the building and only if the building is in a family 1, 2 ,3, 4, 5, 6 : zoom level – zoom 6 only for the 2D part (for azerty users, use SHIFT to get 1 etc.. ) +/-: zoom/unzoom a : cycle through dual view ( 3D&2D ) single views (3D or 2D ) d : duplicate selection m : mirror (only for base and textures) s: toggle snap-to-grid CTRL-s: set size of snapping grid DEL: delete selection (except if it’s the building) HOME: rotate selection CW END: rotate selection CCW PGUP, CTRL-PGUP: rotate view CCW PGDN, CTRL-PGDN: rotate view CW CTRL-t, CTRL-b, CTRL-l, CTRL-r : if multiple selection, align everything on Top/Bottom/Left/Right of the selection’s bounding box to align multiple selection on vertical center or horizontal center, move the selection to the vertical or horizontal boundary of the lot CTRL-ARROW UP/DOWN: nudge object vertically CTRL-SHIFT-ARROW UP/DOWN: nudge object vertically 10x faster ARROW UP/DOWN: nudge object forwards/backwards SHIFT-ARROW UP/DOWN: nudge object forwards/backwards 10x faster ARROW LEFT/RIGHT: nudge object left/right SHIFT-ARROW LEFT/RIGHT: nudge object left/right 10x faster CTRL-I: capture the current 3D window as lot icon (ploppables only) SHIFT-b: toggle background display in LOT-X 3D view SHIFT-LEFTCLICK DRAG: move background picture (only when in pan mode) left click => select CTRL- left click => add/remove from selection. Requires something is selected before hitting ctrl. Box select by dragging a box with the mouse. Works according to mode. To move things, you should drag ( ie left click in a selected object then drag ), different from Maxis LE !
  9. Interesting. It was thought the opposite was true, where directly calling the save routine was the harder road to hoe. I am glad to have asked. Your response is appreciated, and thank you for accepting my feedback.
  10. The plugin produces unintended behaviors. 1) A save will be made when a UI element, such as the exit prompt, is open that normally disallows interaction with the city or other UI elements. 2) A save will be made while the game is minimized. The unmodified game disallows saving in such cases. Based on testing, 1 is harmless*. and while 2 has yet to produce a corrupted city, SimCity 4 has a well documented history of corrupting cities when focus is lost while saving, and could well do the same if focus is forced back onto it during a save. *: Although there is the potential of shenanigans if one manages to save or exit a city at the same time the plugin attempts a save. Testing this has proven difficult. Question: What was your reasoning behind hooking into the save routine instead of sending keyboard shortcuts?
  11. NAM General Support

1: Vanilla appropriate bridges. While it's easy enough to take them from Full NAM, it seems within the project's scope to include them. 2: Vanilla overpasses/viaducts, those contained in NetworkAddonMod_RoadViaducts.dat. Required RUL0 files are 7000_RoadOverpasses.txt, 8000_OWROverpasses.txt, and 9000_AvenueOverpasses.txt. If I recall correctly, there's at least one GLR viaduct included, which will need to be removed. 3: Not a feature request, but on the face of it, RUL1 Dirtroad files can be removed without issue. No functionality gained or lost, just makes the controller file smaller. 4: A marketing suggestion. 100% NAM is incredibly intimidating, and to be blunt, off-putting for new players and those wanting... less. Explicitly sell NAM Lite as a baseline product for the beginning player or those who prefer something vanilla-like, and NAM Complete for the advanced player seeking more extensive control over their transportation systems. It's not a huge stretch from where the situation is at right now. After all, the fact NAM Lite exists in the first place means there is an eye towards the aforementioned groups of players.
  12. NAM General Support

NAM Lite 2 issue: The RUL2 file in NetworkAddonMod_Controller.dat is missing data from Sec1a_Maxis.txt. That file contains all vanilla Maxis overrides and related NAM-implemented fixes.
  13. It's a TEST Do NOT download it

Pakistani, I believe the password will be released after the first Simtropolis NFTs drop.
  14. It's a TEST Do NOT download it

The best use of the "big red button" contradiction I've seen on the site. The only negative is the lack of a childish insult in the text file. "lol noob" perhaps. Oh and spontaneous banning for those who downloaded the file. It'd be pretty funny. Not for the people banned, of course, but for an administrator who needs to blow off steam it'd be HILARIOUS. v42 edit We've finally arrived, after 42 versions, to a nearly perfect maximum overtroll. The somewhat snarky text file, the nested folders, and let's not forget the password protected file at the end with an obvious password for the grand total of three people who caught the inside joke. No arbitrary and random bannings, as far as I can see, but it's possible I've already been shadowbanned and I'm currently screaming into the cold, uncaring void. If so, well played, Simtropolis administration. Well played. My only suggestion for improvement at this junction is to release a version with a functional building inside the locked zip file. Create a string of hints leading to the password. Then after a few people download it and discover the contents, edit things such that there's no evidence of the building having ever existed and rely on the Mandela effect to take care of the rest. You've been on the internet long enough. You CAN troll this hard.
