WOW, nice work! I am glad to see another fine industrial building! Please make a plop version as some of us use a lot of plop material to achieve the look we want in certain areas. A "cleaned up" version would be great too: I am "reclaiming" some of my industrial areas for mixed use/loft/artisan communities and this type building would make a perfect addition. Just some cleaned up windows and some landscape would be ideal, maybe a courtyard? Many thanks!

During the 60's there was a movement to "modernize" the street facade of many of our buildings. This meant covering up the existing storefronts with plain facades with fewer windows and reinforced doors. Recall, this was the 60's, a time of social upheaval and our infamous riot of 1967. Property owners chose protection over aesthetic and to this day, we still have much of the fake facades covering up architectural gems yet to be rediscovered!

Regarding the texturing around the front doors/front of building: your texturing is right on target, or as our neighbors across the river say, "spot on"! You have accurately depicted the way this building looks in real life even though it is obvious the facade does not match with the architectural style of the building and here is why:

WOW! Imagine my surprise seeing this building on STEX! I used to live in the highrise towers adjacent to King Books and would pass by this building everyday on my way out of the Riverfront complex. Your re-creation of this building is outstanding as it looks just like original. Keep up the excellent work! Now if you could just do a version of the Riverfront Towers, I would be thrilled!

Great to see FLW's genius come to SimCity! The pictures look excellent and I am eager to see it in one of my cities soon. Now, if you could do Fallingwater, Johnson's Wax building, Taliesin West, the Imperial Hotel and a few of his prairie houses, I would be ecstatic! Excellent work...and here is to the second hundred uploads! Congrats!
