They said that they can't make bigger maps because they tested different city sizes for months and they confirmed that the glass box can't handle that much data...what they didn't tell you is how they tested the cities online, which would render it incapable of running larger cities with other people playing the game; hence making it unstable and unable to load. Maxis also said they will improve the game to possibly roll out large maps later in the future. Why I think Maxis won't make large maps for offline mode and add them as downloadable patches or sell them as expansion packs. -It's not within their "vision" of the way they wanted people to play. - They won't be able to make money from it. (They added offline so more people would buy the game) - It would be too epic of a game for them to handle. Do people honestly believe what Maxis and EA tell them? I mean they said that Offline mode was NOT possible because the game depends on internet connection to operate. Remember that? remember when they said it wasn't possible? Who are they kidding? they knew that people wanted big maps and they wanted people to get angry at this game. I think bad games is a fetish for game developers...when you have better technology, you don't downgrade, you upgrade.

Okay simcity is offline now, what's the deal...why can't you increase the city size? I was waiting for 2 days and nothing. Where are the building mods? where are the resource mods? where is the population mods? Or do you people just not give a crap because EA and Maxis ruined a good name franchize of simcity?

I'm trying to create a factory city with trade depots and oil refineries. I have one region with lots of sims but they don't commute to the mass amounts of jobs available in the factory part. What can I do?

Hooray for offline finally becoming available today, I can finally play the game without interrupted connections or slow processing time due to my internet connection. I was wondering if Maxis would ever make bigger maps for simcity? Maybe like make it separate patches for people to download? People who can process large filed games perhaps? If Maxis is won't do so, will someone in the modding community possibly be able to increase the map sizes to a considerable amount? If it is a possibility, how long do you think it would take them to do so? I would give them around 7 months to a year or year and a half...if it's really that difficult. Please someone make it bigger.....
