Presenting the third BAT of the Montreal series. The Club Super Sexe is a well known strip club located in downtown Montreal. It's prominent neon lights have undoubtedly contributed to its fame. Hey... adult sims need entertainement too! A Team TSC Production ~ ToutSimCity.com Name: Club Super Sexe Date: July 8th, 2007 Type: Custom SC4RH Lot(s) with custom BATAuthor: CataclawE-Mail: Cataclaw@Cataclaw.comWeb Site: http://www.cataclaw.comThread: http://toutsimcity.com/forums/afficher-reponses.php?forum=ebt&page_sujet=1&sujet=302511Installation: Standard "extra-to-plugins" installation, see readme for details.Dependencies: None!Lot types: Ploppable landmark Plop Cost: 6000$ (25$/month)Misc: While working on a city the other day, i realized how few low-rise "downtown" commercial buildings are available. To add to the pool of available buildings, i felt a strip club might be interesting. It's a "shadier" building, no doubt, but a type of building present in every big city nevertheless. Everything you need to know is in the readme. Remerciements: Un gros merci à la gang de ToutSimCity.com. Votre support est grandement apprécié!

Here's one i made a few days back:
  4. Cataclaw's BATs Greetings. To avoid spamming the BAT - Open Discussion forum too much, i've decided to put most information about all my upcoming BATs here. The first post of this thread (i.e. this post) will contain information, images, progress indicators, etc. NOTE: I'm notoriously unreliable when it comes to release dates. Sometimes i'll be late with projects due to RL issues, other times i'll have lots of free time to devote to BATting so i'll get things done early. It balances out okay. COMPLETED --------------------------------------------- 1000 de la Gauchetière - BAT #02 Succursale SAQ - BAT #01 Tour de la Bourse - BAT #05 Club Super Sexe - BAT #18 -------------- UNDER CONSTRUCTION See various pages of this thread for information, screen shots and news

While i finish up the TSC tower, i'm also working on the CIBC building in Montreal: Here's my progress:
  7. Introduction: Greetings! This is my second city journal, the first one i created a few months back and abandoned it quickly. I got fed up of the project as i felt it was going nowhere. I wanted to try something bigger and more elaborate. I decided to recreate the city I live in: Montreal, Canada. With my extensive knowledge of the city and access to a variety of paper maps, I'm confident this project will take off. Plus, If i ever need to verify the accuracy of something, I just need to go outside and check it out myself Now then, without further ado, I present you the Montreal City Journal. My goal is to finish the greater Montreal area by the end of the summer. Basically, i'm giving myself 2 months. Barring any trips or other social activities, I will try to stick to a posting schedule of once every two days. Posts will contain status updates, statistics and of course plenty of pics. Well then, let's get started! Information: Name: Montral Location: Province of Qubec, Canada Population: 1,812,723 (3,426,350 in metropolitan area) Area: 500 sq. km. (4,047 sq. km. in metro) Density: 3625.1 inhabitants per sq. km. Created: 1862 Languages (Mother tongues): French (67%), English (14%), Other (19%) Random Facts: Montral is the largest french-speaking city in the world outside of France. Montral has hosted the World Expo and the Olympics. The city is well known for it's festivals, it's night life, it's incredible diversity and of course it's gorgeous women It has repeatedly been named the #1 city in the world to live in by a variety of magazines and organisations. 8. City of Montreal [Moving soon...]

Cataclaw here. After a lengthy absence (1.5 years+) from Sim City and Simtropolis for medical and other reasons, i'm back. I've begun BATing again and one of the projects i'd like to resume is this CJ. When i fired up my city for the first time in a year and a half, i noticed how much i disliked the map i was building the city on. I decided to remake the city map rotated in such a way as to match the city grid better. I'm currently compiling this map and by tomorrow the new CJ should be under way. I hadn't done much in the old CJ anyway, so it's no big loss starting over. I'd rather pick up this project fresh with a new map that works better than continuing from what i had. This thread will remain for archival purposes, and the new City of Montreal CJ version 2.0 will begin under a new thread. Glad to be back! Stay tuned...

Thanks for the suggestion, Mr. Glamazon. You're right, when i take a good look at them, those columns do seem a bit out of place! I'll post an update soon. Thanks for the tip! Appreciate it.

I'm back after a year-long leave! Here are some shots of a soon-to-be released building, headquarters of the ToutSimCity.com community. Scroll up for an early screen shot, before i underwent a major overhaul. Here it is before i upgraded the base: Here is the new and improved base:
  11. Club Super Sexe

Thanks for the positive feedback, but hold on a second... you're suggesting this might not be acceptable content? You're kidding, right? It's a legitimate building, a very real part of the urban setting. There's no nudity, the building is clean, everything was reproduced true-to-life and tastefully. On what grounds could this possibly be unacceptable? I'm a bit baffled. Anyway. Glad you like the BAT :)

    A small update:
  13. Petition To The Bosses - Seperate Map STEX

I agree with Keiran Halcyon. Additionally, I would have the default list BATs, LOTs, MODs only (no maps, but the option to check it is there)

  19. Tour de la Bourse

I was going to put this in my BAT thread but I can't seem to access it. It's the 'Cataclaw's BAT Thread'.. has it been deleted or something? Anyway, here's my new BAT, #3 in my Quebec/Canada series. Name: Tour de la Bourse City: Montreal, Canada Height: 190m Rank: 4th tallest in Montreal, 13th tallest in Canada Primary use: Montreal Stock Exchange Year: 1993 ----- After about 4 hours, this is what i've got: -------- Another 5-6 hours later, we have: Darn SC4 squashing perspective. Should is tretch it out to 120% or something? Comments are welcome

Presenting the second BAT of the Montreal series. The "Tour de la Bourse" is the third tallest building in Montreal and the 13th tallest in Canada. Built in 1964, this well known Montreal building is 180m tall and has 47 floors. I spent a good number of hours on this BAT... hope you like it ## Known bug ## :The custom query window close button sometimes does not work. I've been trying to figure out why for over a year. Just drag the window to the edge of the screen, it'll more or less disappear and be out of the way. (Note, the area sizes are correct, i've checked those. That doesn't seem to be the issue. If someone can figure out what the problem is and let me know, i will release a revision with the corrected query window button as well as for my other BAT, the 1000 de Gauchetière. See my thread about this issue in modding forum. Thanks!) Everything else you need to know is in the readme. Remerciements: Un gros merci à Laurent et la gang de toutsimcity.com!!

  25. Place Ville-Marie (Montreal BAT)

paulvmonfort: Hehe. That was my own personal touch. I find it looks better with a slight slant. You're right of course. Accuracy/realism is everything with real-life reproductions. I suppose i should remove the slant. Thanks for the feedback! Appreciated!
