this looks truly amazing. I'm usually not a fan of Asian style buildings, but for this I have to make an exception. btw where have you found that circular avenue overpass.
-
you can also press Ctrl to make the circle larger.

I'm becoming more excited every day.

Bridge over island... is it possible?
Blurque replied to Han Solo's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Have you tried deleting the island, building the bridge and then rebuild the island? I can remember this is how I solved this once. -
It's not an M or a Z, it are a W and a N sideways. It took me a few seconds before I saw it too..

All industrial, no residential or commercial?
Blurque replied to andre8's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Sounds like you don't have enough jobs for the people, therefore no more people move in and no more businesses will come. Best thing to do is zone industrial, either in that particular city or in one which is adjecent to it. good luck. -

Regions in SC5 look pretty neat (from E3 video)
Blurque replied to RRtexasranger's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
It seems like it, now I'm really excited. And I think I also saw a creek getting plopped, when this becomes modable and new more buildings become available this could just become the perfect City Simulator. -
I never dispatch any police vehicles, only fire trucks, too lazy to dispatch the police..

First in-game screenshots of Simcity (2013)
Blurque replied to fatbuster's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
It looks really nice, a bit cartoonish, but I don't really mind that. I only think the roads are quit wide.. -
Am I too late to unlock farmer market~~?
Blurque replied to RyanFok's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Agriculture demand drops at a certain moment when your city grows too large. Then there are still 4 ways to unlock the farmers market: 1. delete a part of your city to get agriculture demand back 2. install (temporarily) a demand mod to get demand back 3. Place a small landing strip and do the UDI Mission with the yellow plane (this requires at least one farm), this will immediately give you the farmers market. 4. Do ctrl.+x and type in "you don't deserve it", this will unlock all rewards, including the farmers market. Good luck and I hope this will help you. -
What is the optimum sized block (R & C)
Blurque replied to SIMple SIMon's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
I usually don't make blocks, my road network are just mazes with very good public transport. I use different sizes of buildings, 4x4 for the bigger ones, but also 3x4, 2x4,3x3 and 2x3, whatever fits. Lots of trees in between, works great for me. -
one word: gorgeous.

Brotania Capitol (Part 1)
Blurque commented on Adjiebrotot's City Journal Entry in Republic of Great Brotany (AOWN)
Looks nice, the road network looks good, I'm gonna try some of the things I see here. I'd only advise you to get rid of the windmill in the first picture. -
Amusing Animation Conflict.
Blurque replied to A Nonny Moose's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Have seen it many times, happends a lot when I build a bridge and one of the pillons is in the old route of the ferry route, it will just sink just before it hits the bridge instead of going under it (while the bridge is high enough).- 6 Replies

265k is not very much, I got over 350k on a medium tile without using any kind of cheats, the demand in cities directly bordering this one were skyhigh. This might be an option for you. You could of course also download a demand mod.
-
sims don't want to walk, so they always take the shortest route possible. In this case they take the route from the upper busstation to the nearest railstation, If you would delete 1 busstation and build it closer to the other railstation the problem should be solved

You can play an entire region, you will just have to swap between all the cities every now and then, you're not able to play an entire region as one city (though that would be cool).
