Ah, I didn't see this first. xD Well, I'll welcome Za again from here! Glad to have another member. -
Welcome Za! I had no idea we had a new member joining us, so I wanted to go ahead and give you a warm welcome! I already have high anticipation of your BAT quality from what I see here thus far. Again, welcome to the team and be sure to enjoy yourself!

Since I'm not really BATing anymore, anyone want to make good use out of this texture folder I have? Bunch of textures I used are in it. PM me if you're curious or interested.

So now I need to post my NYBT Projects now. So far I'm sure ya'll have seen Wall Street Plaza, here it is currently in 2 HQ Renders, Modeling and texturing done, just needs night lights. Now I did start on the night lighting, but these are Draft renders so it will look a little choppy- There will be more floors lit with more variety on the windows where it won't look like the entire floor is lit(maybe I'll leave some floors like that). If you see that's messed up on the night maps, it was because another row of windows was overlapping that part(at the top) I fixed it. So this is the area that's a garage thing but the lighting is being weird for it. The floor is illuminated, the walls aren't when they should be. What's going on? It's a Target Spot light by the way...

Oh it's okay Meg, honestly, I do agree with you historically. It was pretty bad then. But if I may vouch for us now, a lot of us are more open minded than what we were then.

I have to admit, I resent that remark if it was still considered that way nowadays and people think we southerners should secede. Not all of us are ignorant, homophobic, racist, freaks that believe the Civil War never ended... As for Gun bans, gee I didn't know criminals followed the law.

The irony, of a father that manages a CVS who has a son that's trying to get a job at Walgreen's.

Haha, no reason to get upset, I just made an assumption because I never heard of the word before. But thank you for adding a new word to my vocabulary. -

*whining. But I agree... They are? Damn, I missed them... It is? Damn, I'm really off the map... :/ Wow I must have been too. Gee I'm an outcast. All this conformity I avoid! The Golden Years of BATing is actually still going strong. You can even be part of it. But what you're doing here so far isn't going to make you either very popular or ultimately make you any progress. Every suggestion to your BAT that has been made is what will put you in the right direction to make a great BAT. You just have to listen, consider, and act upon it. You could make something really nifty, or something really great! Come on now, you know you want to make something more than good. Take heed to our advice. Your thread has actually had the attention of great BATers. I'd take it as a compliment. By the way, no one has to use 3ds. Max or Gmax. It's not the tools that matter, it's you and how you use them. Madhatter, I believe you said something like that somewhere, correct? Well, that's part of my sense on this. Just relax, maybe take a break if you have to. Take criticism a little better, it's not meant for you to feel like crap. Trust me, even if it may sound sarcastic or harsh to you, it's not meant to be. They take the time to type these posts because they actually want you to improve, take the initiative. -

Yes, like PBGV103 said, the lights on the roof look more realistic. I love it to death. I can't exactly say one of your best so far, because lately everything you've been making is collectively your best. -

Mntoes- Thanks for the support. Writing has been a big thing with me, I finished a book already and I'm still trying to get it published. Darknono35- I said disappoint as in sorry to disappoint anyone that I'm not really into BATing lately and have basically stopped. Thank you for the support as well my friend. I'm glad to see how much you've improved too! Of course, I'll be around ST. I have time to poke around, chat, and offer advise. Besides, I still play SimCity occasionally if it's not crashing. Maybe next summer I could find more time to BAT, I can't right now. -

Hey guys, My priorities are in my writing right now, and some other hobbies so you won't be seeing me BATing in a long while. I'm really not sure when, or even if, I'll return to BATing, I'm getting busier with different things and I think it's time to move on for better focus on everything else in life. Sorry, to disappoint. Maybe someone else with Gmax or could somehow import my BATs into Max could finish them, but until then I"m not really sure what will happen to them. Cheers, Brandon -

Wow, I know I said that this building would look good with the spot light's on the roof but guys I didn't mean it should be like that for every building. Sorry if that was misconstrued. I was just defending the addition of spot lights on this specific building because I liked the look very much. -

I don't think the "reality" will be affected much by simple spot lights on the copper roof. Besides, the result on it so far is good. Glad to hear the day scene is being exported. -

I wouldn't mind the loss of the spot lights on the walls and such for I see what you guys mean there, but I think the spot lights on the roof at least should stay. It may not be the way it is in real life, but it gives it a nice touch and a pleasing appearance(to me at least) at night. To me, it would seem too dull for the game's sake just to leave the roof dark. In my opinion, copper pyramid roofs like that just are asking to be lit up. Of course, it's up to you Darknono35. Either way it'll be a spectacular BAT. -
