While making this mini roundabout http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=756149157&searchtext=roundabout I noticed some of the smaller roads have a higher level than the rest so it wouldn't be visible when you place on the road. The speed bump asset would need its pivot fine tuned so it doesn't float. And it would need to conform to terrain. I will eventually attempt a speed bump myself, although it's not a priority, so maybe sometime next year. It will also be a UK themed bump so it may not fit the theme in your build. There are many different speed bump designs around the world and thinking about texturing the bump so in looks real would be difficult, without it looking like a glitch. If we had move it mod in the asset editor. You may be able to sink a node underground so the speed bump would actually work! Unlikely to happen though. I think adding speed bumps to this mod is unnecessary as you wouldn't have much control of there position unlike a prop speed bump.
  6. Can we get a mod that lets you place props on top of buildings in-game? Hold down a hotkey to place props on buildings, maybe even other props?     Thanks for the feedback King, I live in the UK so most of our Mcdonalds are converted old pubs and the modern ones are a bit like this http://www.mcdonalds.co.uk/ukhome/Aboutus/Development/case_study.html I wont be changing anything other than the stone texture you said was too green. As for the drive thru, players will have to apply the arrow decals that come with the road mods. They are not props, so I cant include them in the necessary props list (which will be huge anyway) I'd like your opinion on this update and Iv'e my fingers crossed for some great new assets from yourself.

    This will be a monument or RICO building. It is based on modern NA style. I have layed out the parking lot as simple as I can so players can build there own parking. In reality these drive thru's take up a lot of space and I've hit the prop limit with what you see. Would you prefer the zone marking to be white? Which colors do you not like?
  14. How do you guys open the asset editor? Up until now I have used a different steam account to open it, so I have far less mods and assets enabled or else it crashes or super laggy. When I disabled mods on one account it would disable some on the other, which was OK . Now it seems to be disabling random assets instead. Do you guys have multiple accounts or is there an easier way to do this?

    I used that mod before and didn't like it. I cant remember why though. I cant see a use in disabling all props with loading screen mod. I will have to trial and error I guess. Thanks

    Thanks all for replies, I want to do this. 1 file for asset creation and 2 for separate cities. I currently have 3 separate steam accounts each with there own subscribed to mods and assets(not enabled). This .cgs file has all of them in one I think and didn't change when I started the game on each account, It was always the same file size. Using this cgs file this means I can only have one steam account. Do I have to unsubscribe everything on both city accounts to create the asset creation .cgs. Copy it. Then resub all assets and road mod to create city 1.cgs. Copy that. Then city 2 .cgs? I'm super confused to be honest.

  18. Will it be possible to get some UK roads out of this? There is a UK roads mod, but It's not as good as the others. I'm wonder if this could make it better. I believe the problem the author had was lining up the lines at the side of the road and some other things.
  19. Can anyone explain how to create decals and ground brushes? Like the concrete brushes or the uk roads double yellow lines etc. I know how to import 3D models but after dumping the models and textures of the uk road lines with mod tools, I get a 3d box that appears in the editor as a 3d box with road lines on on each face instead of flat road lines. I'm using 3Ds max. Thanks

    Thanks for this great info. I did realize I can make my own 1x1 decals fairly fast, I just needed that script. Now I just use an existing cube I dumped from mod tools and replace the defuse with what I want, as well as use an alpha mask. I was going to make some large decals for my shipping yard but realized in the thread it's not possible. Hopefully that will be a thing soon. I have no mod experience but I was thinking you could use the model and script ripped from the vanilla large decals like the basketball court and snow decal or maybe even a sub prop enabler. I could probably design my own golf course using large decals Anyways, thank you for detailed guide.

  23. Depends if you own the asset yourself or have permission from the creator for it to be re uploaded with lights. Plus whether on not I'd use it in my own city. If you could check all of these I'd do it. Do you have mod tools?
  24. Why don't you just remove the construction packs from the workshop?
