WHAT: In line with my first "Go the Distance" mod, this mod changes the plop distance for the three modules that are part of the OMEGA CO Headquarters. WHY: I was frustrated with how close the modules had to be placed to the OMEGA CO Headquarters, so I increased their ploppable distance by a lot. HOW: Simply drop the .package file into your SimCityData folder. * Special thanks to Oppie and everyone else associated with the SimCItyPak for making a great tool, as well as CapTon's "Plop Further" mod for providing a cheat-sheet. -

WHAT: A simple mod that changes the plop-distances for Headquarter modules (Commerce Division, Entertainment Division, Refining Division, Smelting Division, etc). WHY: I was frustrated with the limitations of having to always place the additional HQ modules so close to their respective HQs. While making a few blocks "[insert name here] HQ Mecca," I thought it'd be a lot more fun if you could instead spread out the HQ throughout your entire city. HOW: Simply drop the .package file into your SimCityData folder. I've only included a few screenshots, but the rest of the HQs were updated too. * Special thanks to Oppie and everyone else associated with the SimCityPak for making a great tool, as well as CapTon's "Plop Further" mod for providing a cheat-sheet. -

At this time I don't plan to update either of my "Go the Distance" mods for BOC. I actually don't use either the BOC or Project Orion mods; while amazing, they still are a bit too clunky for me to use. If the HQ modules are included in these mods to be placed outside the city borders, you can actually change the data yourself. This mod does nothing spectacular, in fact even with zero coding experience you too can make these changes. After finding the correct property files associated with each HQ module, the only things that I've changed is the property called "ecoGameToolPlopPlaceInRadiusR" which points at 0x0c8ee92f in each instance. I changed the values universally to 4000 (starting values ranged between 250 and 400). That's it. I'll take a look this weekend though if I have some time and see what I can do and determine how the BOC and Project Orion mods change the game data in an effort to apply that to these mods, but no promises.

While I'm a bit late to the party, I'm stunned and amazed. Phenomenal work!! You should really think about releasing some of your landmark lots - the incredible detail is amazing. -

Keep up the great work. I've had the ATEX in my cities for a while just for looks (with a 1x1 airport next to each station to mimic some use) but to actually have it all transit enabled would be spectacular!

Trappets' Multipurpose HS Football Field

The idea is great, and you could actually pull it off if you wanted to make a baseball and football field in one. There are a lot of seasonal tree mods out there that use seasonally triggered props, you could do the same with your field - essentially have the spring and summer show baseball and the fall and winter show football. (leaving this comment on both lots) -

Hey great airport on page 15. Custom terminals or are those avaliable for download? I'm loving the ramps you have to really emulate the difference between the arrival and departure areas in real airports. -

Great CJ thus far, good use of greenery. Wondering what the lot is that is on the 2nd page - 7th picture. The orange building? -

Carmine Hilton: Here is a link to "all" of Caribou's works. http://homepage2.nifty.com/caribou/simcity.htm The station hat you wanted is currently the first link, top left. I'd really suggest running these sites under the google translator (translate.google.com): Fresh Prince: Here is the ATEX. As was said earlier, its only eye-candy (but gorgeous): http://www.yuhisa.com/cgi/c-board/c-board.cgi?cmd=ntr;tree=103;id= Here is the link to all of the lots that have been made: http://www.yuhisa.com/cgi/c-board/c-board.cgi?cmd=tpc;id= -
Great April Fools day prank guys. Had a mild heart attack as I logged in this morning. Keep up the good work... I didn't notice it was fake until I noticed the incorrect zip (it was the general DC zip as opposed to my actual one).

First off, I really like the changes and I *love* that I can now access the site from my iPhone, but the bar that's at the bottom of the screen (on CJs for example) gets stuck. It doesn't stay at the bottom, but rather stays in one place on the page and moves up as I scroll down. I'm not sure if this is just an iPhone thing or a Safari thing as well (haven't installed it on Vista) or specifically something regarding how the Mac OS might render something. I am also now having an issue regarding posting in the CJ section (from home this time - not iPhone related) where the comments no longer stack. Instead there is just one box, just the size of the Quick Reply box, that they are viewed in, and you have to click inside of the box and scroll down in order to see all of the comments (or even to click on the <Post Reply> button). I'm currently using Chrome, but this is an issue that I have even when using IE.
